The War in the Ukraine

The Ukrainian army published footage of attempts to intercept Russian Mi-8 and Mi-35 helicopters with FPV drones; the drone models were not disclosed. According to experts, it is difficult for FPV drones to shoot down a helicopter due to the difference in speeds and powerful air flows from the rotors. In addition, FPV drones have a weak automatic stabilization system; it is not designed for powerful wind currents and cannot stabilize the drone’s flight. It is worth noting that there is a possibility of destroying a helicopter if the drone flies towards the helicopter on a collision course and dives down, or uses remote detonation of ammunition.

The Ukrainians wrote that the Russian army began using a variety of balloons to organize radio communications and as a reactive approach to limiting damage caused by kamikaze drones. According to Ukrainian channels, the heights of radio communication balloons range from 500 to 3000 meters, and the distance from the front line is 20 to 50 km.

In the Russian city of Krasnodar, people have begun blocking roads because of a power outage They complain that they have been without light and water for over a day.
In Krasnodar, a protest takes place due to power cuts. Residents of several apartment complexes blocked a street, shouting “Give us power!” and urging authorities to resolve the issue of homes being without electricity for several days. The police arrived at the scene. Yesterday, residents of Bataysk in the Rostov region also protested in front of the building of an energy supplying company.

Krasnodar Mayor Yevgeny Naumov came out to speak to protesters demanding electricity. The shortage is due to Ukraine's numerous attacks on electrical and fuel stations.

Another interesting thing is that this is also happening in Odessa, Poltava and some other oblast in Ukraine that I don't remember now.

A large Ukrainian convoy with several armored vehicles and trucks was tracked to a temporary base at night somewhere in the Kharkhiv front. I don't think the Ukrainians realized they were being observed by a UAV at night. Soon enough FABs arrive at the site.

The steam turbine in a nuclear power plant in Rostov malfunctioned. And that is why grid power in that region of southwest Russia went down.
Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!

It was not because of sabotage.

The whole grid is stressed because of the extra load required to power the new regions. Losing a power plant capable of like a gigawatt capacity sent the whole area grid down. The government requested local industry to reduce their power usage to get the grid back up.

The situation should improve once the Kursk II nuclear power plant comes online in a year or two.

Another interesting thing is that this is also happening in Odessa, Poltava and some other oblast in Ukraine that I don't remember now.
That would be a failure in Ukraine's own power grid.

Donetsk region!!!!

Iskanders turn military echelons of the Ukrainian Armed Forces into scrap metal: destruction of equipment before it is delivered to the front

➖ Footage of the destruction of military trains with weapons and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrates the power of the crews of the Iskander-M OTRK. A group missile strike on two military echelons (each with 20 platforms) with personnel and military equipment of units of the 41st mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of the village of Barvenkovo, Donetsk People's Republic, left no chance for the enemy.
➖ Up to 240 Ukrainian Armed Forces militants and more than 60 units of military equipment were destroyed, including 14 American “MaxxPro” armored vehicles, 10 Canadian “Senator” armored combat vehicles, 7 armored personnel carriers, 2 combat reconnaissance vehicles, 5 armored repair and recovery vehicles and more than 20 units of cargo vehicles technology.
➖ The results of fire damage were monitored using the Orlan-10 UAV, which makes it possible to verify the accuracy and effectiveness of the strikes. Ukrainian fighters can only watch as their equipment and personnel turn into ashes.
Footage released by the Russian MoD shows a coordinated action between Iskander missiles and an Orlan-10 against a strategic objective characterized by two railway trains carrying armored vehicles and equipment from the Ukrainian 41st Mechanized Brigade. The Russian action, typically AD (Area Denial), aimed to prevent the aforementioned Brigade from carrying out a strategic concentration, in a meeting area in the town of Barvenkovo, from where it could reinforce the defenses of the important town of Chasiv Yar.
