The time when Abrams tank is spotted and hit with multiple FPV drones. Audio commentary is all effed, belongs to another video. In all irony, the FPV drone operators are from a squad of ex-AFU who defected.

It is always funny them claiming that South Korea was not supplying weapons to Ukraine. And that they will now that Russia restored its alliance with North Korea.

What about the AHS Krab the Ukrainians are using? An artillery piece with a South Korean chassis. What about the 155mm shells the South Koreans sent to the US which end up in Ukraine? And what about selling K2 tanks to Poland which is then free to send its older tanks to Ukraine? The South Koreans are selling weapons to someone else, that then get resold and sent to Ukraine. So this was to be expected to happen. Especially after North Korea was one of the few countries directly selling munitions to Russia while in the middle of the conflict.

The South Koreans seem to forget that anything they "sell" to the Ukrainians will be paid with an IOU, only redeemable if the country survives. And let's be fair, a coutry which is getting obliterated manpower-wise on the front, with a population way below replacement level, a ton of old people, and all the youth integrating in the west (so they won't be coming back), is never getting back on its feet, even if the Russians do allow some portion of it to remain independent. So the people sponsoring those tanks, guns, ammunition, whatever it might be, will effectively be the South Koreans themselves. A country already in a state of demographic collapse will put the screws to the regular people (money has to come from somewhere) even more, in order to sponsor a war on the other side of the planet. 10/10, would commit generational suicide again...

Aren't they almost exclusively selling to US/other NATO suckers that then send their own weapons to Ukraine where they get wasted?

So SK did not forget that fact, quite the contrary, they played it smart. It's EU that's going to be the biggest loser, as they're the ones buying SK weapons to replace weapons they just lose to Ukraine. SK gets real money from EU, while EU get IOUs from Ukraine.

Speaking from Polish perspective (we're the biggest buyers of SK equipment in Europe, actually don't know about anyone else around these parts buying their stuff other than Turkey) it's not smart at all. Everything we "buy" from them is being funded by credit loans from their banks, and there was news, last year I think, that they had to do "creative banking" because of just how much money was being loaned. If memory serves, they wanted to give loans for a part of the order, we wanted all of it to be credited. Now it's all well and good if the economic situation holds and we repay the loans over time, but our budget isn't looking so hot (the entire EU is a hot mess, you'd need a tall bottle to get the entire scope of it, and then probably a bottle of antidepressants, too). There's talk of a huge hole in the healthcare system, there's talk of a massive cut in the defense budget (sic!), honsetly, I don't know who's going to be paying those loans.
