The War in the Ukraine

Has Russia entered Chasiv Yar proper?
The most important part of Chasov Yar is the right bank of the canal. It needs to cross the water obstacle, I believe that before crossing the water obstacle, the Russians will try to capture Ivanivske and Kalinina, as well as the Kanal microdistrict, which would allow them to use the heights of the area to prepare artillery fire to cut the lines of communications of Ukraine and attack the fortifications on the right bank, in addition to extensive aviation support to carry out this same task.

What will follow next? I have no idea.

1) The attack can be frontal or from the flanks with reinforced aviation.

2) An attack concentrated directly on the city itself, using access roads.

3) Or an attempted attack on a broad front to capture the city from the flanks

The reality is that Chasov Yar may be headed to follow the same example as Bakhmut which contained the same obstacles, including the water obstacle.

More spread and bigger pellets means bigger gap between pellets... you can downsize pellets to have less gap but you loose range a lot doing so. It's more the barrel end choke that will induce spread than pellets size. Less spread the better for long range shot, reducing the gap and reducing the chance to miss even if you are right on target.

I use steel size T (5.08mm) for geese passing at higher altitude but using size 2 (3.81) for ducks in flight at way closer range.

Using lead or bismuth would downsize my pellets a lot passing from T(5.08) to BB (4.57) and size 2 (3.81) to size 4 (3.3). Cannot use lead anymore... was way more efficient.
I would suggest using something like a duck or goose load (N° 4 to N° 2) or the close-in small drone defence; good balance between pellet size and range. No need to re-invent what is proven to work.

The first footage of motorcycles being used in assault operations in Ukraine. The video was filmed in the Seversky direction and shortened. Russian artillery strikes a strong point of the Ukrainian army, after which Russian units, "Storm" and "Zarya", advance to the strong point on motorcycles. The battle is not shown; the Ukrainian unit reportedly retreated from the strong point.

I wonder how deep the canal even is right now since it relies on water being pumped in and those probably are not running anymore.

This may not be known, but they will certainly try to cross through the shallowest part of the channel.
