The most important part of Chasov Yar is the right bank of the canal. It needs to cross the water obstacle, I believe that before crossing the water obstacle, the Russians will try to capture Ivanivske and Kalinina, as well as the Kanal microdistrict, which would allow them to use the heights of the area to prepare artillery fire to cut the lines of communications of Ukraine and attack the fortifications on the right bank, in addition to extensive aviation support to carry out this same task.Has Russia entered Chasiv Yar proper?
What will follow next? I have no idea.
1) The attack can be frontal or from the flanks with reinforced aviation.
2) An attack concentrated directly on the city itself, using access roads.
3) Or an attempted attack on a broad front to capture the city from the flanks
The reality is that Chasov Yar may be headed to follow the same example as Bakhmut which contained the same obstacles, including the water obstacle.
