The War in the Ukraine

It would be way more easy to build more mig-29 than building new mig23/27 by Russia anyway... they have some upgraded variants poised for order.
Don't know about MiG-23/27s, but I've been wondering for a while now that what Russia really needs is a reliable, low-tech, cheapo "bomb-truck", like the Il-2 during WW II. They have the Su-25, but those aren't in production anymore, and if memory serves they were built in Georgia anyway...
The MiG-23/27 has long been out of production along with its engines. As for the Su-25 it was not just produced in Georgia. There was a production line for the two seat Su-25UB trainers at Ulan-Ude. But it has long been out of use.

The MiG-35 has a production line ready to go. They just need to order aircraft. Near the end of the decade the Su-75 Checkmate should also be in production.

The Russians are basically breathing down on Chasiv Yar at this point. Because of the canal it will be difficult to do any land incursions from the East. But they are within range of artillery and you will see targeting of the city continue.

The 67th confirmed loss of an M109 Paladin. However this may have been done by a Lancet, and there's a possibility that another video from the Lancet's POV is uploaded, in which case this would be a duplicate report.

Another Ukrainian bridge is taken out. This appears to be an X-38ML launched by an Su-34, and lased by an Orlan UAV. I also suspect that KAB laser guided bombs are being lased from Orlans, this responsible for a number of air strikes already.

Three Bradleys counterattacking recent Russian gains between Tonenke and Umanske. The Bradleys fall under heavy fire, driving past artillery explosions around them like a boss in an action movie until the luck for two of the Bradleys ran out. One Bradley survived and retreated, one destroyed Bradley did manage to disembark it's troop contents. I think it's possible that two of the Bradleys may have ran over mines of Ukrainian origin.

Furthermore, there were supposed to be several Ukrainian fortifications and trench systems along the Donets-Donbas Canal before Chasiv Yar, which were excavated since the time of the Bakhmut battle, for obvious reasons.

The canal passes along the heights. Topographically, the Ukrainian advantage is very considerable, but the other side of the coin is that the canal must really be defended at all costs.

Allowing the Russians to reach the western bank and risking losing Chasiv Yar, with the Russians gaining access to the watershed of the Kryvyi Torets and Kazenyi Torets rivers, would be a disaster, with potential risks for the entire Sloviansk-Kramatorsk-Kostiantynivka conurbation .

Ukraine attacked Alabuga, Republic of Tatarstan (Russia) with kamikaze aircraft

Where the hell is the Russian air force or Russia's air defense in general? A top 3 air force nation at war has no CAP or AWACS near its border with the nation they are at war with? Well I can understand not having AWACS since they lost 2 recently so those are hard to come by but where are CAP fighters? Pure incompetence.

Can't wait to hear the excuses.

Or it could have been launched from Kazakhtan, Caspian sea or Uzbekiztan. I do find it amusing how people go out if it ways to clear other countries from their involvement in this.

Like the other misterious drones totally not launched from Estonia or Finland.
