US might see this as a chance to revitalize industry tho. Would be expensive as they never really make anything of scale since WW II, have to invest and modernize with new machine tools etc. Might see interest in getting new still mill, relaxed environmental regulations etc.

It gets better though:

The comprehensive list included weapons Ukraine already has in stock like Abrams tanks and 155 millimeter artillery, as well some weaponry such as F-16s, drones and long-range ATACMS missiles that it has asked for in the past.

But the list has a few surprises including big-ticket items like C-17 Globemaster transport jets made by Boeing and the C-130 Super Hercules made by Lockheed Martin. Boeing's Apache attack helicopters made the list, as did the Black Hawk helicopter made by Lockheed Martin's Sikorsky unit.

But the Ukrainians did not stop there. The documents show Ukraine is also seeking F-18 "Hornet" fighter jets, three types of drones made by General Atomics including the MQ-9B Sky Guardian and the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) air defense system made by Lockheed.

Fuck it just ask for squadrons of F-35s, all of the B-2s and half the B-52s. Why not, at this point?

The C-17 Globemaster and THAAD. Good luck with that...
But hey, it's a negotiating tactic. Ask for more so that you get what you want.

Gonna be tough with C-17 as it's no longer being made. F/A-18... guess they can spare some.

Speaking of sabotage, just bumped into a compilation of Russian sabotage units ambushing Ukranian troops behind the lines. Seems to happen a lot and they are vicious.

Also seeing that Russia has massified the use of thermal to the point of FPV drones having them, too.

Seems Russia is advancing north and south of Bakhmut and according to Suriyak, is has regained 85% of the positions they lost in May

LMUR delivered to a Ukrainian stronghold in Krynki.


M777 completely totaled from Russian counterbattery fire. You can see the anti drone nets around. This is located in Kherson.

This an old video. Ukrainians tried to use HIMARS to take out this Mi-8 that landed on a temporary position. All three rockets missed but there's a chance that fragmentation could have damaged the copter.

Not to mention, getting shot down is part of the Shahed's job. Get the Ukrainians to waste sparse and/or expensive missiles on cheap drones, while tying up manpower and air defence systems far from the front.

A new Karakurt has been moved to the Black Sea through the Volga-Don canal, replacing the capability lost with the damage of the Askold

Looks like Russians have captured a Leopard 2, not yet towed back though.
