The War in the Ukraine

The thing with the MTLB is that there are loads of them in stock, on both sides, and they have lower ground pressure than most vehicles. So when other vehicles would get stuck in the mud on the soft black earth soils of farm fields in Ukraine, the MTLB might be the only vehicle still able to travel.

Ukraine seems to have had loads of heavy vehicle losses recently, comparable to the losses when their so called counter offensive started. Seems like they they tried to make another "massive" push which seemingly also mostly ended up in failure like the first one a little over a month ago.

Predictably Russians have gone up to the remains of 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade's recent attack to take photos of all the vehicle wrecks. You can find all the photos at whichever pro-Russian sources you tune into as they are all busy spreading it. I'll attach two that stood out to me of a Bradley that was destroyed particularly violently:

The other Bradley's are all much more intact than this, I wonder if this one was carrying ammo inside or something.

The head master sergeant of 47th brigade Valerii Markus has requested to be relieved of his role in the brigade and transfer to a squad leader role:

I strongly disagree with the decisions on the use and development of the 47th Brigade. We were not allowed to build a military unit in accordance with the values we declared at the beginning of its creation. I no longer have the opportunity to influence or correct the situation. I no longer consider my position as the brigade's chief sergeant appropriate.
I can't leave my men behind, so I'm going to the lowest position of my OWN volition to be closer to them on the battlefield.
The report is already on the commander's desk.

Ukrainian convoy in Zaporozhye under heavy fire. Vehicles being destroyed.

New Zala drone has increased and improved artillery spotting and targeting options for the Russian Army. This looks like Super Cam.

Ukrainian convoy falls under attack by ATGMs courtesy of the DPR. One vehicle went up spectacularly which I suspect was carrying ammunition.

Ukrainian convoy under Lancet attacks.

The remains of a destroyed MaxxPro at Zaporozhye.

Wrong video on the bottom of previous post. Right video showing destroyed MaxxPro.

Both sides use Strela-10 extensively to take down UAVs. Here a Strela 10 of the Russian 200th Brigade takes down a Ukrainian drone.

MT-LBs are popular for towing howitzers for this reason on both sides.

Ukraine seems to double down on their tactics rather than adjust and evolve new ones. Their lines of attack seems almost the same, making it easy to anticipate for artillery and ATGM ambushes, places to lay mines ahead. It's like they cannot admit what they are doing is wrong, so keep on doing until someday it somehow comes out right.

The Russians have a nickname for this place now, the Bradley Square.

Some news not well covered, two more Ukrainian depots getting attacked, one by Iskander.

IT would definitely be 152mm as Russian MSTA are 152mm. 155mm version would be for export, mainly India. they were ordered 155mm version of Krasnopol as far as i remember.
