The War in the Ukraine

If it was working, it would had successfully retreated already. Russians tend to leave behind damaged things and have recovery vehicles pick them up later. Tank is probably captured by the Ukrainians during the retreat from Izyium. It would have to be obtained from the Ukrainians. It's possible that after the US studied it, the tank is not in a working order to be sent back to Ukraine or the Ukrainians have trouble fixing it.

On a separate note, document leaker has been captured.

This is all a charade IMO, how NYT was able to track the guy before the entire intelligence apparatus of USA, just doesn't add up + no leak publically of the documents, only controlled stories leaked by dependable and ameable media like BBC, NYT etc. Otherwise Al Jazeera etc would've been all over these documents, apart from many independent journalists + they'd be all over dark webs and torrent, similar to Panama and WikiLeaks.

Simply just not adding up, 100% psy op and poorly managed tbh, so maybe just testing it out and making it more dramatic to regain share of mind in public where Ukraine issue is sliding into background.

Same hull mildly better turret, same tech level as T-80U. Lame as hell. T-90M however would be interesting. Ukraine did capture few of those.

Second are you sure about the gimping? T-90 was sold for export before adopted. This was in a time Russia sold T-80U their best tank at the time. They also sold their fucking country but that is another topic.
Ok the Indian Army which was the first export user did receive an improved T-90S variant in terms of mobility and optics(some will argue it was a sidegrade since some electronics were apparently downgraded but doesn't really matter now since the Russians have the much more superior T-90A and AM variant) but I am pretty sure the Russians were still the first users of the base T-90.

Russia at that time would have sold anything from their military catalogue irregardless of whether it was the domestic or export variant as long as the price was right, the T-80U was never meant to be exported originally, same as the Sovremennys or the naval S-300 complex.

At least for me I would never underestimate the enemy and give up the opportunity to study any weapon of the enemy I got my hands on especially if it was one of their frontline tanks.

Ukrainian training camp near Lyiv, that's way far to the west near the Polish border, got hit by Kaliber cruise missiles fired from ships in the Black or Caspian Seas. Casualties unknown. The missiles would have to travel across Ukraine unmolested by air defense.

MANPADS Igla hits a Ukrainian Mi-8.

Bakhmut reduced to rubble.

Ukraine using demolition building traps against Wagner storming.

Ukrainian soldiers got out of their vehicles and entered a building for shelter but are tracked by drone. Russian artillery or tank fire hit the building.

T-90M firing inside Bakhmut. Are there new mods made to the tank?

Another Krab falls victim. This time it's not a Lancet. This looks like a UAV lasing it's target. Krasnopol? Or is this a Forpost-R drone using laser guided KAB-20s? Russians have been heavily targeting ammo, fuel and vehicular depots in Zaporozhye.

I am going to ask for proof that T-90A is a vast upgrade of T-90S earlier. T-90 was supposed to enter Russia around same time it was only not there because of economic problem. I never even heard of the T-90AM in service are you sure you didn't just make up a tank name.

Apparently the AM is just a modernized A? Maybe the Russian Army doesn't consider it a separate variant? Some sources say it exists though? Maybe @gelgoog can enlighten me on this?

The initial T-90A got the newer welded turrets and a much better engine. (ok not as spectacular as I originally thought I admit)
