The War in the Ukraine

Looks like the drone dropped a small bomblet.

Although I wouldn’t necessarily class that as a loss since I think the guns shouldn’t be too badly damaged from such a small yield round detonating close by. You need a direct hit with such a small round to take a gun out.

The artillery fire shots don’t really show much and could be totally different footage spliced in.

Not saying the guns weren’t knocked out, but we cannot tell from that footage alone.
If the Russian can keep dropping frag ammunition near them, no troop will be crazy enough to fold and transport them elsewhere and they will be abandonned and possibly captured.

You can see the flying wing drone diving in the first few seconds. I'm gonna guess the targets weren't the guns themselves but the crews because maybe they were trying to capture them.

But thats just speculation on my part.

The drone footage shook slightly just before the bomblet came into view, which is typical with dropping of bombs from lightweight drones. If it was a suicide drone, it was very badly flown to have missed everything.

I have since found a longer video clip that proved the M777s were killed. I am having a senior moment and cannot figure out how to upload it.

Essentially it showed the strike, and the guns getting towed into the woods that was then saturated with artillery fire.

Oh so it's surrendered now.

But on this note, originally on Monday night when word first got out that 10 people were emerging from Azovstal to negotiate it was only supposed to be for the wondered and pro-Russian commentators were all worried that Azov is coming up with a little trick to get rid of those no longer useful for fighting and decrease their own drain on resources. Then when it actually happened it was 250+ with 200 or so of them uninjured. Today it's 1000. You can see once some people run up the white flag and the other side takes them in without fuss that urge to surrender becomes infectious.

This is also why PLA treats PoW well - it's a psychological weapon to encourage more to surrender.

@0:08 seconds, the guy runs away after the detonation!?! That proves the M777 wasn't destroyed.....even the human can survive the blast.
The point is more after dropping the little bomb and causing them to move into cover the UAV continued to observe and potentially guided further counterbattery fire onto their position.

Even if that counterbattery fire at the end of that video didn't destroy the guns, wouldn't the UAV just watch them some more and direct more fire onto them?

If they are more in a static position hiding with the UAV keeping track, they can even lobe an Iskander to finish the job.
