Unlike the mandatory reminder of Chinese hacking in every article they can get away with, I fully expect the western media to dismiss Snowden as a traitor or foreign spy, and the revelations of US government hacking will not even need to be swept under the carpet, because so long as it only target foreigners, the American public won't give much of a crap.

The only thing that will change is that the western media will carefully craft a set of rules where their hacking are defined as 'fair' and 'necessary', whereas what China does will be found to be 'wicked' and 'inexcusable' blah blah blah.

Article 19
The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region shall be vested with independent judicial power, including that of final adjudication.

The courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region shall have jurisdiction over all cases in the Region, except that the restrictions on their jurisdiction imposed by the legal system and principles previously in force in Hong Kong shall be maintained.

The courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region shall have no jurisdiction over acts of state such as defence and foreign affairs. The courts of the Region shall obtain a certificate from the Chief Executive on questions of fact concerning acts of state such as defence and foreign affairs whenever such questions arise in the adjudication of cases. This certificate shall be binding on the courts. Before issuing such a certificate, the Chief Executive shall obtain a certifying document from the Central People's Government.

Just look at the agendas, those morons got it all wrong. Why don't somebody tell them this whole BS has escalated far above CY Leung's pay grade? That HK gov't only has the role of executor? They should appeal to the PRC gov't because things of diplomatic and national matter is in Beijing's jurisdiction, as stated in the Article 19 of Basic Law:

But of course, if you look at the manifest of the groups and parties involved in the movement, it's infested with those that carries anti-PRC agenda, so those swindlers won't tell that part of the inconvenient truth to the public.
