this wing is pretty diffrent from j-7e double delta. Previous wing was basically a cranked delta, this one is more alike to f-16's design. Almost as if the front part is lerx, then a larger part being the wing itself.

I didn't mean to say the two aircraft have very similar double delta.

I agree that the wing of the JL-9 has significant differences to even that of the latest J-7 derivative. Actually, there's not much left of the JL-9 that can be linked back to the J-7.

I think this plane will never make it into real prototype.. It will be replace by JF-17 or something better.

it is made by two different producers and price range seems to be different enough to warrant place in the market for both designs. ftc2000g seems to be aiming squarely at the current j7g market. As j7 is about to go out of production entirely, there may be room for it.

Agreed, There will always be a market for less expensive aircraft. There are some countries that cannot afford the JF-17. They just require a point defense/patrol aircraft. Or may as an aggressor unit. There will be buyers for both aircraft. Besides the J-7 type is easy to construct and maintain, which is a very good selling point.

As Stalin said “Quantity has a quality of its own”.
