If Pakistan strikes military targets, like some in Twitter space are claiming that they have already done, then this will really escalate.

Here's how they match up in terms of strength.

Pakistan AF > Indian AF
Pakistan Navy < Indian Navy
Pakistan Army = Indian Army

These two have fought 3 times but I will also note that the last time they fought Pakistan didn't have nukes so things are a little bit different.

I think we are miles off this reaching nuclear escalation but for now it will be an air and missile strike show. If there's a ground invasion, then nuclear escalation will be a real possibility.

Don’t you understand what I’m imply ? Attack population center is one of the highest level of escalation. I don’t care which side are you on, but we certainly don’t want 2 countries with nuke have to climb to that level and ready for the final escalation

Since Pakistan claims they are civilian positions, it is even stronger argument for Pakistan to hit back whatever targets in India.

It will be suicidal for India to start ground and naval operations without air superiority.

Interesting question, since Pakistan operates Chinese weapons, if J-20 with J-16D masking and KJ-500 support launches a few PL-15 at Indian aircraft, can India tell it came from China or Pakistan?
