Man... seeing the those figures made me pretty proud of what we have done in little singapore.

Singapore being an island (49km from East to West and 25km from North to South) plus it was not in a rectangular shape rather a diamond shape thus you don't actually get as much land area, we still manage to cramp in 5.312 million population (2012 guesstimate) with an ultimate aim of 6million in 2020.... and still had enough empty spaces for large industries, free spaces for military training, parks and the stuff. And there are heaps of greeneries all around.

And have I mentioned? We have one of the most efficient public transport system in the world (if it don't break down :p)... well... being small helps, thus I reckon it is not really that amazing a feat to build a good infrastructure especially when you are so tiny.

So this is like an Argentinean way of a chicken fried steak. A chicken fried steak is beef cooked and battered like fried chicken.

That looks very appetizing! I’ll take one order with some red wine please.

looking at food... many of us Singaporeans like to have what we called Chicken rice. This dish was actually not originated from Singapore though but from China Hainan... however, what we have here is modified to suit our local taste (not sure how the original one looks like though).

Yeah, the second list would be the one I had in mind. San Antonio is a beautiful town. The river walk is amazing, especially at night. With that said, I almost walked into the river once when I was walking along the walk after a fantastic meal and a few drinks . The river zigzags through the walk and I was walking straight ahead and almost stepped into the water.

Yes.. the second list is much better. The Metro area tells you where the population centers of the US are.

For instance I grew up in Cincinnati OH. That cities population is about 330,000.. but the metro area is 2.1 million.

I'm really nerdy when it comes to statistics.. When I was in the 10th grade we were assigned to do a book report on any book we desired. I used the "Information Please" almanac of 1969. No foolin'!

I remember I had a BIG crush on my English teach Miss Boulos.. she looked like Marlo Thomas...

I grew up in Cincinnati from 1956 to 1971. For the first three years of my life I lived in New York NY.

We just finished watching the new Dallas (the TV series). It's fantastic! JR is as mesmerizing as he had always been! Very sad that he's gone...

Back to the topic... Because we love the new series so much, we wanted to find those old seasons and see the evil JR at his prime. The old "Dallas" TV series began in 1978 and ended in 1991. I only caught the last season back in 1991 when I first came to the States. My dad introduced me to the series because he is a big fan. However, I never got a chance to watch the earlier seasons. So last night, my wife and I found the first season on the web and started watching. First impression: Dallas looked pathetic back in 1978! We all talk about how fast China develops. The pace of development in Dallas is equally amazing.

Many US cities suffered a stagnation in development in the 70s into the mid 80s...

Texas in particular has benefited tremendously from the economic stagnation that has been going on in the rest of the country. A whole lot of talent and business that would have been to elsewhere move down to Texas during the last couple recessions. And as the result, Texas blossomed.

If any of you ever come to Buenos Aires. Go and eat at the restaurant La Parolaccia. You will have a great meal (expensive for here) for around $US20 to $US25 per person

I will be in Florida in February to take the kids to Disneyland for Summer vacation. Any recommendations?

I think you meant Disneyworld, because Disneyland is in California. Either way, get the VIP passes that way you don't have to wait in line like the ordinary customers. I've never been to either one, but from what my relatives and friends told me about it, it's good to come prepare. Universal Studios theme park is near by, I'v heard both good and bad reviews about it, so go at your own risk. So have fun and be safe my friend.:D
