i believe one liner isnt allowed lol. but you can trust the stats to be true, that's counting by quarter, counting by year Taiwan's economy shrank by over 19%. its no surprise, Taiwan's economy suffered negative growth even without this whole financial fiasco. its only salvation now is the mainland market. same thing goes for Japan, kinda feel sorry for them, such a hard working nation, they dont deserve this kind of treatment.

Interesting points of view... do you think North Korea is a danger to Taiwan?!

Another thing : have you checked a recent news on Taiwan TV about a french Mirage expert? His wife was the victim of a robbery. I was just wondering why this man is in Taiwan now...

I never said Taiwan's economy was good now, I said it was bad this past year. I thought you would use stats to back up the claim of the economy was bad under Chen. References, quotes? You cant go blabbering about a country suffering negative growth and saying China is the saviour. Heard of a term called globalisation??? Global Trade? Everyone is suffering under the financial crisis and there are alot of countries OTHER than China. When the full impact of the financial crisis hits China, you won't be so "China gonna save everyone".

There are no rules regarding one liners.

This thread is for military discussion with slight mentions of economics allowable for discussion regarding military budget. Return to the subject matter at hand.

eh,you are right, no need for economic discussion here. but just as a last word, for the case of Taiwan, its economy severely deteriorated under chen is no news to Taiwanese ppl. and for the island the Mainland market is the ONLY hope for recovery just ask anyone.

no DPRK cannot threaten Taiwan. it has no incentives to do so. and even if it does, Beijing, under the "anti-secession law" would intervene.
