So wait, is the US striking government positions?
Very tentative proof if any so far. It's 2 videos both with low flying A-10s doing nothing. Could be recycled footage, could be current air patrols. No images of anything damaged by US.

It's also strange to fly so low when we know Syrian government and even many of the rebels have MANPADS. Makes me think this is peacetime/flying over friendlies.

I don't think US affords the domestic or foreign image hit they would incur from openly fighting the Syrian government. Russia is salivating over the prospect killing some American pilots, and the skies are very much locked down by their air/air defenses.

How would US government explain to the world and their own public that Russia shot down their planes that were helping ISIS? Same ISIS that were beheading US PoWs years ago btw.

The stubbornness of assad is going to be his end:

Observers in Ankara expected Araghchi to deliver a message from Assad aimed at encouraging a diplomatic solution to the escalating conflict. That didn't happen.

“He didn’t bring anything from Assad,” said one person familiar with the talks. Instead, Araghchi expressed Tehran’s grievances, accusing Turkey of betrayal by allegedly supporting the rebel offensive. He also reiterated that Iran would back Assad under any circumstances.

Tuerkey never stops "amuse" me. It is now supporting HTS to attack Syrian government. HTS is designated by Turkey itself as a terrorist orgnisation in 2018. In a big picture, HTS is also designated as terrorist group by USA, EU, UK, Canada and Japan etc. And even more "amusing" is that we have a hyper-active member in this forum celebrating the "achievement" of terrorists because he hates the Syrian government. If we play by this "logic", it would be appropriate to celebrate Kurdish rebels blowing up buildings and people in Turkey. Turkey's game in Syria is anthor evidence after many that it will never be welcomed in orgnisations like SCO. Erdogan's overture of joining SCO was/is/will be just a smokescreen and a blackmailing trick to US (bargain for more). It is disgusting.

Such a basic thought is apparently is too much for some of them. They expect me to do their work. Laughable. No one is stopping them from posting stuff from their POV. Instead they whine and attack me personally with false accusations and trolling.
That’s the problem, isn’t it? If we all act on “basic thought”, there’ll be no peace anywhere in the world. Why can’t be just step back and look at what people in their own country wish for instead of promoting violence for the sake of our own interests?
