Light sabers is nothing more than a really short range lazer flash light and the so called "force" is nothing more than a quasi religious zealot wannabe god.

The jedi do tend to do what they want and damm the consequences. They don't answer to a high athority. They are judge jury and exexusioner.

But light sabers are stillcool.

She was also another woman. The actresses who introduced Dr. Weir on SG1 and the one who made her on Star gate Atlantis are two different people. The original Dr.weir was Jessica Steen.

Really? That's uncanny because they looked very similar.

Not quite sure about that.

Jessica has a more stoic bone structure to her face and is decidedly blond. Where Torri has a more pronounced cheekbones and a less pronounced laugh lines. Torri is also brunette.

Torri Hutchinson was the second of three actresses to play the role the this and final actresses in my opinion is a much closer resemblance to torri albeit a bit younger.

One topic we omitted was Battle Star Galactica. The number 6 unit (what a tall glass of water). Even though I disliked the Baltar character. I would have enjoyed being him. He had his harem of “babes” and in the end he stayed with the model 6. Not bad for a slimy little weasel.

I think we should keep in mind that Star Wars did basically six live action movies and two tv live action movies with real people.(Barely, CGI clones are not people!) The rest of Star Wars content is some form of animation.(CGI alien women don't count.)

Star Treks advantage in women is that they can feature all the up and coming babes every week on their tv shows. Here's to name a few STNG Ashley Judd, Famke Jenson, Terri Hatcher and a bunch of others that never made it big.

That is a good point. people ALWAYS look better on TV than in movies. It is customary for actors in TV series to have tons of make-up. Movies, on the other hand, want actors to have more realistic looks. So minimal make-up for movies. If you compare the same actress in a TV series vs. a movie both shot in the same time frame, the one in the TV series almost ALWAYS look better. Take Jennifer Aniston for example. She looks perfect in Friends in almost every episode. On the other hand, you can see the pores and wrinkles on her face in movies.

So if you want to compare Star Wars vs Star Trek, you want to look at the ladies only in the Trek movies.

Personally, I am a Star Wars fan, all the way. I can't even stand the Star Treks. It's boring as hell...

In the end though, none of those sci-fi babes compare to Arwen and Galadriel. :D Although the latter is too ethereal for my taste, but still quite beautiful in the way a piece of art is beautiful.

There's also the 3 (4?) sisters in Charmed. The show was kinda meh, but the leading ladies were some of the hottest actresses to ever appear on TV.

Oh, and there's Buffy and Willow.

As you can tell, I'm more of a fantasy fan. :)
