In other news, Robotech apparently has gotten the green light since apparently Pacific Rim is getting good buzz.

With the SW VII, let's wait and see. They are still working on the screenplay. So we"ll see...

As to the Pacific rim, I can NOT wait to see!!! The trailer looks sooooo cool. I mean, HUGE robots!!! Who doesn't want to see big robots fighting monsters?

With that said, do you guys think they will do a Gundam movie one day? I hope so.

That's easy, in Transformers the robots talk and have human emotions, meanwhile in Gundam the robots are piloted by humans and have no human association at all.:eek:

There are already hints of the story because Lucas has already laid out a plot to those that need to know which apparently will star a female lead this time. I see Abrams take on it now. She's a young woman with all the teenage girl life angst that has to also balance it out with her duties as a Jedi.

If these big robot mech movies break the bank... yes. But it'll probably have to wait in line because there have always been rumors of a Voltron movie project being bounced around Hollywood.

I wish they would make another Television series similar to Battlestar Galactica. Good writing, good characters, good effects. I miss that program.

I think Abrams will do "ok" if you ever watched Fringe it's of Abrams. I thought they struck a balance and kept themselves going too overboard with the super science.

Though I'm kind of curious what a Peter Jackson directed Star Wars would look like.

The female lead is probably Jayna Solo trying to mitigate the conflicts created by and between her brothers and sometimes with there cousins.
