Patricia Tallman and Tamlyn Tomita were also in the pilot as such part of the OG cast both are alive.Another Babylon 5 actor has died... I believe that leaves only Londo Mollari of the OG main cast still alive.
Yeah. A ton of insecurities. It is like watching those TV talent shows and the contestants yell "I want to show the whole wide world that Chinese can do this too!" I think it is a hopeless situation until these ex-Red Guards all retire. When you give narrow minded people such power over creative arts, you get stock propaganda because that is all they know. They celebrate comformity and uniformity. "Space Sweepers" was excellent.Watching the new korean movie space sweeper told me that china still has quite a long way to go to match the latest foreign movies. Chinese movies just have a weird sense of seriousness in them

Too bad but she seemed to be begging for it. She said a lot of stuff last year and the alt-right incel YouTube echo-chamber said she was fired back then but now it seems her latest comment did her in.
Honestly, freedom of speech includes the right to be stupid in social media. But the idea of blacklisting an actor for their conservative beliefs is somewhat ominously troubling...

Too add on since I just finished watching the movie and wrote the above before I went to bed... I thought is was typical Asian storytelling affair contrary to it being in league with Hollywood. A good movie has the audience trying to anticipate where it's heading. This movie I was being dragged through it. There were so many questions to why "this" was happening and most was never answered. They were gimmicks. Why was that Caucasian guy lusting over the female lead? That character was completely unnecessary as with many others which also made the movie feel long because they were digressions. What made this woman attractive? Just because she was cute and thin? And then at the end when she's holding off all those space fighters with an assault rifle and four clips attacking their ship... I would've bought that absurdity if it was a well choreographed over-the-top action sequence but it was just her strapped outside the ship like she were hanging off a Blackhawk helicopter with an MG firing at space fighters flying by that just made it boring. The one thing you do to hide bad CGI is to make it blurry. There was a lot of blur around the object in focus. I would categorize it as a ride movie but then all that character centric stuff slowed it down. Like I said before, the voice acting of the dubbing was horrible. It was static but then the main characters were static through most of the movie.
