Real-Life 'Star Wars' Ballistic Armor Protects You From Actual Bullets

Boba Fett would be proud.


Ever wish you could dress up like one of Boba Fett's fellow warriors and actually protect yourself from bullets at the same time? Well you might just be in luck. Ballistic armor manufacturer has teamed up with artist and multiple weapons and equipment companies to build Star Wars-inspired ballistic armor, and it is beautiful.






As part of the GalacTac Project, AR500 Armor announced on their page that they will be displaying the armor at this year's , a firearms and hunting trade show in Las Vegas, starting tomorrow January 20 until the end of the show on Friday January 22. It is unclear if the tactical armor shown in the photos is a one-off promotional art project or if people will actually be able to purchase a set of the Mandalorian armor, but AR500 Armor acknowledged that there has been a significant "increase in interest."


The GalacTac Project included contributions from several firearms and hunting industry leaders, including , , , , , , and . Now all they need to add is a jetpack.

Also on display at Shot Show is a Full Helmet from Devtech. both seem like cool toys but dubious in protection.

It looks more like something from Titanfall.

Season 2 is definitely better than Season 1 in terms of the story, characters and even animation, and I'm very excited for Vader vs Ahsoka even though Vader is pretty much almost guaranteed to win.

Having seen episode one: ********** Massive SPOILERS ALERT *********














Are we suppose to buy that the alien invasion was staged by the government all along when we have clear proof (about 9 seasons worth) of malevolent alien activities? I think there might be more to this than we are led to believe.

I've heard The Lone Gunman are going to appear sometime. How are they going explain that when they died at the end of their short-life TV show. Also if I recall correctly didn't a RPG kill-off Cancer Man?

Either it's gonna be a massive retcon or they are gonna explain things in episode six. I really hope that it's the latter since the former pretty much invalidates 9 seasons and a decade worth of mythology.
