To Jeff and all other naval pros; I know sub noise level subject is complicated and not 2-dimentional plus, many details are classified. But I created this simplified graph based ONI plus internet speculation. Is the graph reasonable? What are the modifications I can make?

PS: I excluded the speculated values for the PLAN SSN

Radiated noise i think, and the noise level corresponds to the top of the flag by ex Seawolf/Virginia 95 dB, in this case good number for some types to see after.

In the same time posting for speed the more to left, and deepth also an advantage for silent the sound is more diffuse " scattered " to very deep

Good number for the graphic, maybe Yasen/Graney more fast ? new to see...
Units number in 2016 a little different.
RU S-M.jpg

For historical records :
Alfa up to 41 kn in fact 39 deepth 420 to 800 m
Mike : max 1250 m !
Papa : in trials 44.7 kn
Seawolf in trials 44 kn.

I add US :
Seawolf 40 kn, depth max 600 m
Only no Russian submarine able to to dive to great depths, hull in HY-100, 2 LA 688i have also a hull in this steel used for test for Seawolf.
L.A 32 kn, max 450 m
Virginia 34 kn, max 500 m
Ohio 25 kn, max 450 m
US have the better sonars and fire control/electronic systems.

According Russians datas and i have exact here

operationnal deepth is to 80 % of the maximum in this case for US 480, 400, 360 m.

Noise levels are very tricky issues. Lot of variable, including the speed of the sub. But in general what I have heard is:

Seawolf/Astute/Virginia: ~95 dB
Yasen: ~100 dB (probably less, but not as low as above)
Project 971U/971M: 105 dB
LA 688i: 105 dB to 110 dB
Trafalgar: 110 dB - 115 dB
LA 688: 115 dB - 120 dB
Project 971/ 971I: 130 dB
.....

I doubt 093 is at 110 dB. That would put it in 971U/971M, 688i Trafalgar range! PLA switched to 093B only after 2x 093 is because it didn't meet their requirement.

So here my estimation:
095: 105 dB - 110 dB
093B: 120 dB
093: 135 dB - 140 dB
091: 150+ dB

PS:
I found this floating in the net. No idea about accuracy.

Exactly my feeling for 093 all experts say disappointing don' t want a Los Angeles, about Sierra/Oscar II 115/120 dB, 093B to 110 ?

Mine : synthesis from severals sites.
95 dB : Seawolf, Virginia, Astute
100/105 : Yasen, last Western/Soryu SSK in AIP more definitely 95 maximum
105 : LA 688i, Akula 971/971UM, Ohio, Kilo 636M
105/110 : Trafalgar
110 : LA Fl I/II, Akula first, Rubis
115 : Kilo 877
115/120 : Sierra, Oscar II, 093
120 : Delta IV
120/130 : 094
125 : Typhoon
125/130 : Delta III, Victor III
135/140 : Han
150 : Xia

Much Type 209 the last want about a LA 110 dB, Yuan enough good, Song is medium.
