I don't even follow basketball and even I was shocked by news of his death. He's just such a household name and all around cool guy.
I never heard of him until yesterday. On talkback radio some women's group were suggesting that it was disgusting that its troubling that he is given so much adulation, even after escaping a rape charge through a out of court settlement.
Has there been any news on why he was flying when all flight were grounded because of weather conditions.
That womens group is not the judge and jury of anyone. Only God is.
Kobe was actually charged with rape in 2003 and acquitted. The woman then filed a civil suit and there was a settlement.
B.I.B... I don't know what the pilot chose to fly on Sunday. Kobe was taking a group to a basketball tournament sponsored by him. Kobe owned the helo.

Nope. Don't you remember? I do. I watched this game on my 12 inch Panasonic black & white TV that I got for Christmas. ..enywho.. the Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl IV played at Tulane Stadium in New Orleans LA on 11 January 1970 against the Minnesota Vikings. I give up on the Houston Texans this year. Coach Bill O'Brien is trading away all of the key players in substitute to guys that were ONCE great but injured prone. Like DeAndre Hopkins for a 2nd rounder and than use that to trade for Brandin Cooks? 
And than the Houston Roughnecks were doing great until this pandemic tragedy put an end to the new XFL league. They were undefeated through 5 games. What bad luck!
