The YJ-12 is believed to look like the ASMP missile:

We also have little photos of the HN-1/2/3, CF-1/2, and YJ-22 missiles. However we know that they all exist.

Never said all of them are put into VLS launchers. We don't know much and maybe the 128 figure is too high, but here is my possible explanation.

Cruise missiles may use box launchers (if the PLA-N chooses to go old school on this) while the SAMs get VLS. After all, the Type 052D will not be a Chinese Ticonderoga. The ramjet engines and side intakes of the YJ-12 also makes it unsuitable for VLS launch.

OR

Some of the cruise missiles are kept as "backup" or supplement.

Imma give you the benefit of doubt here...
Let's say the "YJ-12" whatever it is, or whatever cruise missile they field on 052D, does number 128... there will still be 96 VLS k?
Then either the 128 AShMs will all be in boxed launchers like current PLAN ships, with 96 additional VLS cells seperate... (lol)
Or the AShMs can be quad packed or something into the 96 VLS cells. You won't have a few in VLS cells and a few in boxed launchers.
And what do you mean by "backup" or supplement??

Regardless it's way premature to confidently give numbers and specs on these supposed up and coming vessels. Simply acknowledging the possibility of their development and existence is enough at the time.
Same goes for the whole laser weapon ship. We're giving it the benefit of doubt for the moment because it comes from a supposedly reliable source.

Great find! I have a thing for catamarans. :) It's a beautiful ship. The gray color and angular shaping of the exhaust suggest it's a naval ship, but obviously not combat.
