Full scale testing rig for the KF-21’s Martin-Baker KE18A ejection seat system was shown off at FIA22.

It seems that the KF-21’s ejection seat will be apart of the aircrafts [35%] foreign sourced components not being developed or produced domestically; however the KE18A ejection seat system has been a proven system used in aircraft such as the F-35, F/A-18, and Eurofighter.

Indonesia : Why should we pay up for cheap ripoff of F22?
They got everything to gain.

It's a cost-effective 4.5 gen fighter which they are involved in its development and can be further developed in a 5th gen fighter without too much difficulty.

If Indonesia wants a 5th gen fighter, they'd have to make too many concessions geopolitically speaking, endure a very long delivery time or pay a huge price to buy off the shelf.

Again, i doubt it's gonna be cheap. And the korean already said they will not give off the whole stuff about kf21, despite the fact the collaboration is close to a 50:50 joint venture?

I suspect this is the reason for the delay of the payment, the Indonesian aren't dumb to pay for something which they do not have the proprietary to the product and let the korean milk them like a cash cow.

Cheaper in the long run then any other 5th gen fighter because of the production sharing.

Wrong. Its 20%.

More like they lack consistency and money. Their entire armed forces is a united nations of military products.

Indonesia certainly does not lack money, they even asked for F35 purchase LMAO.

UN of military product = lack know how to make their own, not lack of $$

UN of military product = much higher resistance for any sanctions and blackmails, very smart move.
Egypt do the same...
