I also wonder if that's the version of photo Malaysia uses. The boundary seems pretty close to Malaysia.

I believed it's Post WW2 but not 100% sure ...

The PAF will receive the 1st 4 of 8 brand new W-3A Sokol combat utility helicopters from Poland next month and the last remaining 4 units will be deliver in November of this year...

A joint team from the DND and AFP are in Italy conducting inspection of military hardwares that might be purchase from the European nation which could include aircrafts, armoured vehicles and naval vessels ...

The US confirmed this week the transfer of a 2nd Hamilton class cutter USCGC Dallas WHEC-716 during the 1st half of 2012 to the Philippines to bolster it's maritime patrol capability ...

Not "race against time" more like "massive catchup ahead"...The Philippines air force has long known been fell into neglect, while its fellow ASEAN members have been rushing ahead with various degrees of success.

The PAF is set to receive the 1st 4 of 8 brand new W-3A Sokols from Poland this week that was purchased back in late 2009 at a contract price of around $64 Million , the remaining other units will be deliver during the 2nd half of 2012 ...
