Indonesians Su-27/30, F-16 with a F-16 modernised in Bl 52 to Hill, USA.
Fighters number increase with 24 new F-16C/D Bl 25 ex US modified in Bl 52, 8 delivered 1 lost remains 16. AF have yet 10 F-16A/B Bl 15.
And 16 Su-35 selectionned normaly purchased in 2 batchs for replaced 9 F-5E/F.

12 in order, a small Sqn
Since F-5 withdrawal about 10 years ago they don' t have so it's good but they want and have need a better fighter the Jas-39 can be a good choice range a little short but for small air forces using their fighters essentialy defensively he is sufficient.

Indonesia order 12 Su-35

The Indonesian Government has approved the purchase of 12 Su-35 November 29th,

As reported November 26, 2015, the Indonesian branch of the American broadcaster CNN, Chief of the Indonesian Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Agus Supriatna told reporters in Jakarta that the Indonesian Government has approved the purchase of 12 Russian multipurpose Su-35 fighters.

"I read the document sent to the Ministry of Defense of BAPPENAS [National Development Planning Agency]. The acquisition of the Su-35 has confirmed the Minister of Defense" - said Agus Supriatna

Kyan Sittha-class of Myanmar Navy with F14 numbered, named UMS Sinbyushin


The Myanmar Navy was put on the service of 3,000 tons stealth frigates.
Recently on foreign sites appeared picture second stealth frigates Kyan Sittha-class of Myanmar Navy with F14 numbered, named UMS Sinbyushin which fully installed with radar and weapons systems.

Two warships on is considered an achievement to be proud of the Burmese military shipbuilding industry in particular and the defense industry in general in this country.
Built based on the experience gained from missile-defense class support ships 2,500 tons predecessor UMS Aung Zeya, UMS Kyan Sittha design focuses on reducing the area of radar reflectivity, which ship better hide before monitored by electronic radar of the enemy.
Although based in Myanmar, but the rate of localization is quite low, almost all weapons, ammunition and equipment on board originated from China, India and Russia.
The first class - UMS Kyan Sittha number F12 (named after the king of Pagan dynasty, a brilliant dynasty in the history of Myanmar) began work in 2012, an official service at the Myanmar Navy in 31/3/2014.
2 days earlier, the second layer - UMS Sinbyushin number F14 have also been received.
Basic specifications of stealth frigates UMS Kyan Sittha class : the amount of displacement 3,000 tons; length 108 m; it is unclear whether the crew numbers.

CODAD engine (combined diesel - diesel) 4 Pielstick 16 PA6 STC SEMT machine capacity of 5,700 kW (7,600 hp) each for a maximum speed of 30 knots/h (56 km / h), a range of 3,800 nautical miles (6,100 km).
Electronic systems including sonar attached UMS Kyan Sittha supplied by BEL HMS-X radar reconnaissance with 2 parameters (2D) BEL-02 Mk III RAWL operating in L-band manufactured by India.
The fire-control radar gun Type 347G and fire control radar Type 344 anti-ship missiles of China.
The armament of the ship consists of 2 x 4 launch tubes subsonic anti-ship missile C-802; Oto Melara Super Rapid gun 1 size 76 mm ; 2 highway flak AK-630M 30 mm size with torpedoes and anti-submarine rockets.
As predicted, Myanmar ship can be equipped with short-range air defense missile FL-3000N (RIM-116 Rolling airframe "Made in China"). Helicopter deck in the stern could acommodate 1 Kamov Ka-28 helicopters.
Myanmar Navy had planned to build more than 3 ships of this type in the near future and the present one is in the process of construction.
