The new photo definitely shows one of the CCAs or whatever it is, It is not the J-50 aka J-XDS.

If you look at the wingtip section, at no angle of J-50's wingtip movement can you produce the distinctly "sharp" or tapering wingtip that appears on the craft in the photo. Not only this, both sides of the wingtips are identical. No detection of moving wingtip in the new photo. If it is showing a J-50 in the neutral position, how can we explain the tapering wingtip when J-50 clearly has longitudinally straight wingtips?

The yellow circled bits dont align no matter how you assess it.

Considering we don't have any angles of the J-XDS from that specific angle, and considering the quality of the image, I wouldn't be so sure to rule out the possibility that it could appear "inconsistent".

As for the lack of visible all moving wingtips, that is not particularly important, after all we've seen many photos of J-XDS where the all moving wingtips have been in a default non-deflected position.

I think it's just as equally possible this could be J-XDS as some other new aircraft, but the idea that such a poor quality image from such a unique angle is enough for us to rule out the idea that it might just be J-XDS, imo is really stretching one's confidence in imagery assessment given such a poor quality photo.

I'm quite confident that this is the J-XDS. My 3d model may not be the most accurate, however when viewed from this similar angle, it looks pretty much like this. 1756795849635.png

From the image you can clearly see the 2x 2d nozzles, the tail boom and the ends of the lambda wing. You cannot use images of the J-XDS from another angle to determine that the wing tips look dissimilar as your perspective will distort the shape of the wings. My J-XDS model is a bit fit, but yeah my point still stands.

My view exactly.

We ultimately haven't seen the real aircraft from this angle before, and picking at small minor details with the assumption that it "doens't look like this" isn't really enough to form a good basis of disproving the possibility that this is J-XDS -- because maybe the real thing just looks like that from that specific angle.
