On one hand I wish I could see the whole picture, on the other hand I don't want that guy to be arrestedCMON. *Insert the "sign it" scene from Shrek but replaced with "release it"*
J-XDS still needs to take off and land, which necessitates flying low at some point. Granted the SAC plant is situated further away from densely populated zones relatively speaking, but having people take a few photos of it being close to the ground still seems normal to me, and shouldn't be seen as evidence that SAC intending clear pictures of their jet to be takenNow with regards to getting arrested, when we consider the clear captures of the J-36, I think these guys are probably just being too careful or rather teasing, otherwise SAC doesn't need to fly it so low if they didn't intend for it to be captured so clearly; especially in Shenyang of all places.
I can't quite see how it can work properly if it's a duct instead of an open groove, especially at higher angles of attack.Just a thought but, if the 'trench' on the underside of J-XDS needs to be there for aerodynamic reasons, would it be possible to cover it over, so the trench is not visible apart from small openings at the front and rear, or does it need to be open?
If it is real, then Ministry of State Security has already made tea for himView attachment 149708
I don't know what to say about this...
Not that I can see, it's a pretty standard (as standard as these things can be) pitot tube for testing purposes, so could be any jet reallySay if it's real, is there significant innovation/uniqueness in that pitot tube?
No, but this is clearly from a very high resolution full-frame image.Say if it's real, is there significant innovation/uniqueness in that tube?
