On a serious note, there are many interesting things about the photo. To me it looks like J-21 (or J-31), despite its size and DSI inlet, actually physically resemble the Raptor more than the F-35. The weaponsbay resemble the Raptor configuration and the humongous vertical stabilizers resemble those of the F-22 as well. The engines seem to be missing. I suspect that either WS-13 or RD-93 will be used.

I am beginning to think that the aircraft is more tailored to air-air combat than the F-35 based on the weapons-bay size/configuration. The overall cross-section is similar to that of the J-20. Perhaps this bird will succeed or even serve along-side the J-15 on China's future carrier?

Pakistanis friends will be thrilled when they see this.

I'm pretty sure it isn't. For one, the front profiles of every 5thgeneration fighter looks similar. To photoshop something you need a picture you can modify while making the final thing look legitimate and not doctored at the same time.

You'll be hard pressed to find a pic of a plane whether it be f-35 ot what not, that either picture could have been doctored from yet still look as real as it is.
The fact that the two pictures are from such differing angles yet show complete consistency also demonstrates the chances of being PS is low. Then finally there are aspects to this picture which no PSer would add as it old cast doubt on its authenticity,such as the red landing by doors, or the little eagle or bat symbol on the tail.

Not to mention all the shadows, textures etc all look,consistent too.
No I'm near 100% confident this is the real thing.

Sigh... it is like when the J-20 came out all over again! The landing gears, wing-flap position, and canopy are nothing alike.

if you are beaufty, can you make a heavy stealth fighter? we are talking about it's ability not apperance. so please just watch and be quite !

Siege, do you want use your almight mod powers to merge the other new J-21 thread with this one? We don't need two parallel threads on the same plane running around...

If this proves to be fake, then whoever released it on the net deserves a very slow and agonizing and painful...well you know what i mean:mad:.

That being said, while i'd fervently wish this is the real deal, it's better to wait for additional photos to be sure ( i am unsettled by the striking similarity front wise between the F-35 and the suposed J-21/31/F-60, i wouldn't exclude PS just yet-unfortunately).
