We don't know what's going on behind closed doors, SAC could be being open to interested customers. It's not being kept in the dark, just not being showed off.

Well, it probably won't be as big impact as a first reveal... unless J-31 goes under major redesign which I think is unlikely

Shenyang is freezing this time of year. Unless the photographer is wearing polar bear fur I can't see how he/she could wait outside for hours like they did in Chengdu.
The skin look so smooth... It look like that 31003 have the incredibly thin wings of the first prototype, probably they don't contain fuel tanks.A final image in 2020 of the second flying FC-31 demonstrator no. '31003' ... so come on SAC, please show us the J-35 in early 2021.
