Does anybody have further information about this particular FC-31 model? It's either a poorly-made one (which won't be surprising to say the least) or maybe the FC-31 did undergo design modifications for future tranches.

It's a model at the PLAAF Command and Control Training Academy.

Any news if FC-31 will be navalized? Liaoning and Shandong are nifty, but without navalized stealth variants, they are only useful at projecting power against weaker small states, not peer rivals.

I agree with your point. At the same time, no one has ever used a CBG against a peer rival in Modern warfare. A so-called peer rival will have significant offensive weapons to thwart a CBG from gaining any meaningful occupation near its shores. When we talk about peer rivals, I can only think of the US., Russia and China. These nations have Militaries of scale with highly developed MIC.

US Navy is the same?

EW, Stand off munitions, AA suppression, tactics - all of them are not relevant anymore?

At the same time, no one has ever used a CBG against a peer rival in Modern warfare.
While changes are many, fundamental rule changed little: attacking carrier force chooses time and conditions of engagement. It's able to concentrate in the fog of war, while enemy only reacts.
It's crucial.

Yes they have Falklands war Royal Navy against the Argentina

The Argentinian carrier had located the UK carriers but it was outside its operating envelope

Adding more fuel reduced the weight of ordnance and when they finally did decide to launch the wind died down

Carriers are good for beating up weaker country’s but carrier vs carrier on equal footing is about who makes the least mistakes

It really does come down to that

This is called high risk environment, you can have the best pilots and your skills polished one mistake and it’s over

Everything remains relevant, but without a serious 5 gen force to take down the door, you won't get in!

on a number of things, including drones used to simulate stealth aircraft and FC-31's RCS. Someone else can translate.
Q: Big God means FC31 radar reflection area is 0.002

pb: Poor design index of Uighur Eagle
Not much is this magnitude. That is the lowest value for some specific test environments. . . . . The lowest practical value is generally 0.01-0.05.
