At the present time Pakistan is busy with the production, further development and sale of the aircraft to other countries. It takes time for a country who is relatively new to the aviation manufacturing industry. Hence it is imperative for Pakistan to successfully mature and develop the JF-17 aircraft. Pakistan does not have the vast resources like China, America or Russia. As such, it is prudent to focus on the on going program.

At some stage, when all new procurements have reached maturity. Perhaps then Pakistan will venture into the 5th Generation Stealth Fighter acquisition.
