Hi what kind of engine are they using at the moment ?It looks like the "Darker Engine" has a larger Diameter of aperture may be they are doing some Engine testing
Thx

Maybe they now have enough confidence to stream line the testing process. Their technology testing process won't remain conservative forever. That said, I don't think this is a new engine. Not the first or last time we see identical nozzles that appear to have different colourations. It's entirely possible that one nozzle is just newer than the other, but the engines are identical.Right hand nozzle is certainly lighter. So is it just the nozzle or maybe this is testing the WS-13E? But then again why would they want to test a new engine on new prototype?
Could simply be that one engine has had some hours while the other engine is nearly new.Right hand nozzle is certainly lighter. So is it just the nozzle or maybe this is testing the WS-13E? But then again why would they want to test a new engine on new prototype?
More pics of J-31 v-2 released today .
Reminding you that it is rumored for V3 to make first flight in 2 days on 1 June 2017.

New prototype won't be June 1st. The message in original Chinese says June, but did not specify date. So it could be any time in June. So might have to wait 30 days.More pics of J-31 v-2 released today . Reminding you that it is rumored for V3 to make first flight in 2 days on 1 June 2017.
