Your post simply substantiate the point that it would be beneficial to all if we stick to simple construct and meaning i.e. KISS rather than convoluted and opaque language in communicating.

Which was why I responded to AFB with a short and concised manner based on my own interpretation of his cryptic post .. But that got me put on his bad list? LOL... OH WELL I've been treated worse ;) hehehe

I don't think he mean he added you on the ignore list, just that AFB was on his ignore list and you quoting AFB made him aware that AFB's reply was there. I guess if we could all be less defensive, communication will be more efficient.

Anyway we should get back on topic.

That's why the Russians want to sell those SU-35s to China, to recapitalize their defense industry, for starters, building the PAK-FA,,, I do believe its very likely the Indians are unhappy with the Russian export version, HAL Sukhoi PMF/FGFA, and the lack of firm progress to date???? I have been wrong before, but this time, I don't think so?:p:p

Sorry, but you are wrong this time.

Putin is visiting India this December, and FGFA is right on top of the agenda. Don't go by misleading media reports. Nobody outside the HAL and IAF know anything about the FGFA in India. And it's gonna stay that way for a long time.

Yup I've heard from Chinese forums such news. The Indians were apparently unhappy with the progress and the amount of access they have to core technologies. After all they're not stupid, they know the Russians do not genuinely want to share technologies with them, but to simply make use of their funds to proceed with their own project.

No such thing.

It is very likely the FGFA deal will be signed before Rafale. This was the plan from before too, though both the deals were delayed by a year.

take a chill pill janjak, reading this gave me a headache dude???? WHUT R U talkin about man??? and then rewrite your sentence in a clear, concise statement, remember, its called "communication" meaning we both need to understand what your saying???? and yes, I am a teacher!

I think what he is trying to say is monopoly is not good. It's better to spread the wealth.

I believe he is talking about how the USAF did it with the YF-22/YF-23 and YF-32/YF-35 rather than the "let's work together on one project" culture in the AVIC and even the UAC.

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has expressed interest in procuring fourth generation stealth fighter aircraft FC-31 from China.

Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain told Dawn on Friday the matter was being discussed with Chinese authorities.

It is for the first time that a senior government functionary has confirmed talks with China over purchase of the longer-range stealth aircraft — an issue that has been a subject of speculation in defence circles since the 10th edition of the Zhuhai Air Show (China) held earlier this month, when the aircraft was unveiled.

Mr Hussain said that Pakistan was also interested in Chinese attack helicopter Z-10.

China and Pakistan had earlier co-produced JF-17 Thunder. Pakistan has been eagerly trying to market this fighter aircraft.

“We have nearly confirmed orders from seven countries for JF-17,” Mr Hussain said.

Pakistan, which is at present producing Block-2 of JF-17 at the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra, is eyeing orders from countries in the Middle East and Africa.

“The PAF has a requirement of 250 aircraft, but now we have decided that we’ll sell some of the JF-17 Block-2 to international buyers besides fulfilling our local demand,” the minister said.

The minister sounded upbeat about the upcoming four-day defence exhibition IDEAS 2014 beginning in Karachi on Dec 1.

Some 175 companies, including 34 local firms, are participating in the international event this year.

Mr Hussain said a few MoUs and agreements on joint ventures were expected to be signed during the exhibition, but no orders were expected at the event.

“The basic spirit behind the exhibition is to increase interaction with defence industry (officials) of other countries and provide exposure to our own industry,” he said.

So... you are also an AVIC insider? ...that you know more about AVIC culture than me, a Chinese follower (loose though) of the AVIC affair?
