Talking about beer, I'm pretty much into european products. While it does indeed tast somewhat bitter, it at least tastes.
Becks and Heineken seem to be rather well known stateside.
I actually also like Shiner in the US, but the rest is mildly flavored water.

Also in the US you rather get a little coke with your ice instead of some ice with your drink. That almost hurts, so cold. And kind of useless, why would a order (and pay for) a 22once cup, if I only get 5onces while the rest is frozen water? But than again I guess that's what free refills are for.

I also have lime with Corona like beer only.

If I want something really cold, it's Jaegermeister (Jeager in engl.?)

The only beer I have on the regular is Keystone Light, Natural Light, PBR, and Busch Light. Only thing they serve at college fraternities haha. I always like to stock up on flavored Smirnoff Vodka though. When going out, I love having soju and yogurt soju with Tteokbokki stew to chase.

So you cant even drink chilled coke , pepsi etc, those drinks are horrible at room temp. Beer should'nt be ice cold, just nicely chilled like white wine.

Ice cold coke, sprite, pepsi, w/e. It's 2 degrees celsius, how can you not close up after chugging down a half cup? Same goes for the cold water coming out of the house hold water fountain, Alhambra, whatever they call those. At 2 degrees, you can't even taste the drink anymore. You are really asking for diabetes. (No offence to real and genetic diabetics.)

I do like a coke w/ ice at 30000 ft though, refreshing.

If you know how home brew beers are done (Yeast is thrown in the bottle, not the mix in the pot), it's kind of the same difference w/ Western vs Chinese yogurt.

So each bottle ferments by itself and so the stuff has the consistency of custard until you drink it w/ a straw, then the whey starts coming out. (Western yogurt has whey removed; you cant spoon Chinese yogurt.)

Over here we have a variety of yoghurt which you drink out of a bottle, you cant spoon, but theres no ref . to it being Chinese yoghurt, probably bad for mass appeal.

Silly Question , has anyone tried that Tsingtao Beer?

Definitely NOT The idea that a fancy cable gives you better picture quality only applies to analog cables like component and composite cables. For digital cables like HDMI, it does not make a difference. For analog cables, a good quality one ensures little loss of signal, thus better picture. A digital cable? As long as it is a working cable, it will faithfully transmit the 1's and 0's to the TV, doesn't matter which brand it is. So you definitely don't need a fancy HDMI cable. We use a Philips HDMI cable we bought from Wal-Mart.

Well, it is hard to describe in words. The Chinese style has this special sour flavor that makes it taste good. The American ones taste kind of flat.

Comparing cold soft drinks, I actually like Sparkling water better. IT has no health issue associated with soda and has this special "buzz" that comes with carbonated drinks.

anyways i'll start the day off:

midterm in 5hrs, studying psychology. i woke up from my power nap, drank from my cup, then a few fucking seconds later a fly landed and started cleaning itself. i had a bad feeling. it then flew into my cup and took a swim. i think i drank from its swimming pool. FML

i cant afford to sleep tonight, but i never thought it'll be through something like this.

what pisses me off further was, WHERE on earth did it come from. it's november right now!!

This is a cool idea.. I think.. except for this.

Any way.. everyday I get up after I have my morning coffee I check this forum to look for spammers and make sure things are running smoothly. Then I'm off to work. Boring? Sometimes. Oh I work through AARP at the Iowa Department of Human Services.
