Why this doesn't have APS ?

This one is a gun mortar; aka a piece of artillery.

It shouldn't really be operating at distances where ATGMs are a major threat; and it's also reasonable to cut costs for a piece of artillery. APS ultimately are expensive, and giving them to a gun mortar means you won't be giving it to a different AFV that could make more use of it.

may be unmanned, or at least a unmanned turret 105mm assault gun? If this is a 122mm howitzer, there is no need to put APS on a unmanned howitzer turret

But after thinking about it, it's hard to say. Nowadays, artillery/self-propelled artillery is being hunted down by ammunition such as lancets, so it is reasonable to have an APS make a last-ditch effort.
