Your garage is bigger than your house LOL.
I need a garage like that. Can do a lot of 'man-type' work there w/o the wife complaining. No man cave here.. got a huge but unfinished basement :(

Re: Member's Weather Reports

A Dutch meteo service published on its website an article that said a statistical relationship was found between early snow cover in Siberia North of 60 degrees and cold winters in Europe and North America. They expect a winter as bad as the last one in North America, but they don't bet on it, and a cold one in The Netherlands too, where last time the winter just didn't happen.
Well, so far we have had the largest snow fall recorded in the valleys of SW Idaho for any date in November since the records started here in the 1870s. That was November 13th and 14th.

Then sunday morning and this morning we had the two coldest low temperatuures on record for any date in November at -7 degrees farenheit and -4 degrees farenheit. it's 14:45 hours and about 12 degrees out there now.

So, it seems we may be in store for a record breaking winter all around.

Well, the part to the left of the actual garage is really part of the house. We have a bedroom, a rec room/kitchenette, a bathroom and a good sized storage room in there.

Then there's the actual parking, but it is two deep. It could hold four vehicles if necessary, but we keep mowers, tools, 4 wheelers, etc. in the back part now. It is open to the back and is a drive through. Then to the right we have a 12 x 40 work room for projects. Youcan't see it, but on the back end of that we have a 8 foot wide roll up door into it from the parking area, and a normal door up near the front.

It's nice. It was an add-on to the house..

A vehicle, with a large chunk of snow on its roof, drives along Route 20 after a massive snow fall in Lancaster, N.Y. Another two to three feet of snow is expected in the area.

Look like North America has a very bad snow early winter this year. I can't imagine how you guys drive in such weather.

Re: Member's Weather Reports

We had some snow yesterday...and now have about 4 inches on the ground. And then last night it got colder.

7 degrees Fahrenheit this morning and will be down near zero tonight for the New Year. We will get up to about 17 degrees today and it will be like this for the next week or so. But beautifully clear this morning!

We had an inversion the last week,. Lots of thick fog and ice associated with it.

Temps in the 20s at night and low 30s in the day.

Our latest snow, that came Christmas Eve is still on the ground and we are supposed to get a little more tomorrow morning.

Winter continues!
