My question concerns the organization of the threads in the sub forums.

Are the threads organized by branches (plaaf, planaf, army) or by systems that either fly, drive on the ground or sail on the water?

Because right now it's neither. It's a mish mash of both. I don't see the logic in it and it makes it more difficult to keep an eye on new developments.

I've sent a coupe of private conversations to webby at DefenceTalk.com. He did respond to the first message and stated;

"hi, i will check. I've been approving usernames few days after they register to help with spamming."

I just sent the second message a few minutes ago. I sent him this post by Deino;

https://www.sinodefenceforum.com/banned-warned-members-list.t54/page-77#post-548995

Thanks but please remind him to finally promote and install the long promised new moderators!

The group of active mods is simply too small. :(

Please take a look into below issues.

1. I am sorry if I couldn't figure it out but There is no option for disabling email notifications . I have been bombarded by SD notifications in my email.
2. I haven't been able to change profile picture for 1 years now. Please add features for users to change profile pictures.

Thank you

You should be able to turn off email notifications by ;

1) Click on your user name in the upper right hand corner of your home page here on SDF

2) Select preferences.

3) The first option is

Automatically watch threads that you create or when you reply...
  • and receive email notifications of replies

4) there are two boxes on this option. Unselect the second box that states "and receive email notifications of replies". That should fix your issue.

Please institute a post count on new users before they can create a thread. There's been too much spam lately.

I can only agree with that esp in mind of the latest round of spammers during the last weeks and days.

Please @WebMaster ... install such a "post count" and otherwise please promote new moderators as agreed already more than a year ago.

I must admit, it is too much right now.

I sent another email to webby imploring him to promote those members approved to be a moderator. I also sent him your most recent post. We need him to respond...immediately.
