Very nice Keith, I listened to all of it while I was surfing the net, thanks for sharing your heart with your bros, very impressive, and technically challenging as well.

Thanks AFB I also appreciate your kind comments. I also enjoyed your statement on Soundcloud. You make me feel like Darth Vadar trying to lure you to the Darkside!
One thing I had forgotten over the years is just how exhausting this process can be and I am utterly knackered after this. No more I think until the New Year!

Yes, I'm to old and tired to exhibit much creativity anymore, though Pastoring a Church, driving a school bus, and substitute teaching seem to kind of take it out of me these days. Why I'm so thankful to have an LSA aircraft that I can fly. I'
ve been flying a 1946 Ercoupe, which helps maintain my flying MOJO. I noted an under-inflated nose gear tire and no way to air it up.

Sure enough some nosewheel shimmy, so take the load off with aft stick, it was a challenge on each of the touch and goes that I shot to get a nice slow, tail low touch down and maintain that with aft yoke as I added power and went around each time, kinda kool to be getting a "feel" for that quaint old faithfull flying machine. I did make some very nice landings and holding the nose gear off, added power and went round again, I believe it used to be called a circuit and bump on your side of the pond?

Once again nice work, and your music is strangely de-stressing to me, thanks Bub!

I am delighted to learn that my efforts help reduce your stress. To know that something I have done has had some benefit to somebody somewhere is a reward in itself and helps me believe that the time has not simply been wasted.

Sadly however I doubt that Landlubber Sampan would find much stress relief in a distressed aircraft landing or even; as you rightly call it, a bump and go!
Kudos to you though for finding your peace in the sky - even if the sky/ground interface is potentially challenging.

I must be honest, I was not sure if I should really post this one here. It is afterall pretty much all Viking and no real Sampan element whatsoever. It is also rather more "niche" than most of my previous output and not likely to appeal to those outside hardcore genre fans.

The track is however one of my most successful to date and has gained the number of plays and "likes" on soundcloud in 18 days, that previous tracks have taken many months to achieve, so here goes.

This is a 25 minute epic called Odin.
It is the eponymous title track of a collection of the same name that I hope to produce during the course of this year.
This is not a comic book Odin but the image of the god taken from the Edda's themselves. This is the Odin that was master of secret knowledge, wisdom, law, fate, ord (wyrd) runes death and magic.
The image used for this track is a 12th century Wood Carving of the God from the Norwegian Heritage Wooden Stave Church at Hegge and shows him as both one eyed and with tongue protruding to indicate his having been hung. Both events being sacrifices that he made for the sake of gaining secret knowledge.

Very nice Keith, I'm very happy to "hear" your creative juices are flowing again,,, though every time I see the title of your thread I'm hopefully thinking Sampan is a Christian Bro, but we will be brothers always in any regard, blessings to you Bub. You can pray for me, as I have been asked to preach Sunday at our church, I really haven't preached in over two years since I resigned my last pastorate due to grumpy, problematic old people, and yes I'm there too, afraid I've grown a little more sarcastic in my old age..

Anyway, back to your Psychedelic Sauerkraut,, I do like that electronic funky beat, keep up the good work, and I hope you're staying healthy. What are you thinking of the QE these days, she's looking very sharp Heh??

Thanks AFB, I have actually been trying to transfer tracks over from Soundcloud to Band Camp, but Band Camp has a ridiculous file size limit, which blows much of my efforts out of the water.
I have transferred a few over, including one called Melancholy Cabaret, (which I had to split). Psychedelic Sauerkraut was a development track from that project, but it developed into something else. Check it out.

I hope your pastoral ministrations are not too demanding. Look on the bright side, if your stirring them up, then at least there listening and not just falling asleep.(as in the best CoE style
".....and so we consider as point 76, the conversations of Deutrionomous and the acolytes of Carpathia......")
QE is looking great, just a shame that we have little more than kites to fly off it at present.
