I don't know about the MKI, but the British claim the Typhoon can do 6.6G at mach 1.6 at an altitude of 50000 feet. No different from the American claim.
Post a source or a link please, and it is totally different to have an ITR of 6.6 Gs from an airspeed of 1.6 mach, the Typhoon will NOT sustain 6 Gs at 50,000, here the Raptor will initially pull far more Gs bleeding off to a sustained rate of 6Gs at 50,000ft.
General Schwartz capped his statement by asking what other aircraft can do that?? the answer according to General Schwartz is NONE...
Back on topic to the PAK-FA, that's the main reason the Russians maintain OVT on the T-50, to increase "sustained turn rate", no matter how much thrust you have, the aircraft will settle into a much lower turn rate than the initial turn rate. Both ITR and STR are equally instructive as the the actual turning performance of the aircraft, and those numbers taken together tell the whole story?
Please do post a link or a source to your assertions about the Typhoon???
Does anyone have any information on T-50 6.1?? has it completed its first flight? I would expect that any time?
