Russian Su-57 Aircraft Thread (PAK-FA and IAF FGFA)

You seem to have interpreted the word "even" to mean that I am looking down on J-20's RF VLO measures, whereas it is meant to be the opposite. That's the whole point of why I talked about the accumulated experience of the US in the past prior to F-22 and F-35.
Because J-20's RF VLO measures are already very impressive, compared to "even" the F-22 and F-35 given that J-20 was China's first flying stealth aircraft.
I didn't mean my comment to be accusatory and I apologize if it came across as such. You've pretty much singlehandedly put to rest the braindead idea that the J-20 is a crippled AWACS interceptor and established (at least among the teachable) that it is an all-aspect VLO air superiority fighter. I certainly am not going to dig a trench over a minor semantic issue and some excessive sensitivity on my part, so I'll just let this matter lie.
It should be interpreted as a hypothetical to demonstrate my point.
Sure, but I found it notable that those lopsided ratios were the numbers you naturally reached for. But again, I'm being overly sensitive about it and making a mountain out of a molehill.

Not my stuff typically, but I guess these series are worth recommending.
Probably the best easily available explanation of the su-57 concept.

The Russians state they will have more than 70 Su-57 in service by 2027. They were supposed to have 76 by then. Are the production numbers by that date dropping?

There have been no changes to the contracts. There was an initial 1 year delay because of the crash of the first production aircraft but it is supposed to not impact final deliveries. Also, if the aircraft is successful the production will likely be revised upwards possibly multiple times with additional contracts. Just like what happened with the Su-34.

Are these criticisms of the SU-57 fair or exaggerated ?

First thread
Second thread

Well. i had bit of exchange with the person. He seems to have "special" attention on my estimate of Su-57 RCS.

The main issue with his argument however the complete negligience of factor of frequency in RCS. RCS value is only useful when you have frequency information on where the measurement take place. Otherwise it is not useful or even meaningful. This is example of my estimate result, for my Su-57 model with its IRST open, Stowed and then with a model of F-35A.

Then in frequency

JointPresentation Su-57vsF35.png

Each of the aircraft are treated in separate tweets of mine :

Su-57model.

F-35 model. Which you can see my exchange too with him, kinda odd.

The other issue is mainly attitude like.. i actually offered him to make a high resolution 3D model and to find a common ground on what is acceptable, Yet he demanded the impossible by asking for a real thing which nobody can.

which TBH not a good trait to have when one wish to have a productive discussion.

The value in Su-57 patent is practically useless without knowing the frequency it was measured and even then there is no common standard yet on how one should present its RCS data.

-----

As for my further project... since the ANSYS HFSS that i use actually support calculation of Cavity RCS. My plan next is to extend the modeling into the inlet. Taking account of the "S" duct and the Radar blocker. here are some WIP of mine for Su-57.

The aircraft and its inlet model. based on the patent drawings :

Corrected Inlet.png

The blocker :

The physical dimension and placement are calculated through the following spreadsheet.

Su57spreadsheet.png

The spreadsheet itself is based on the Patent on Russian radar blocker and photographs available.

The blocker model :

There are some issues mainly on the what kind of material i should use and things like how to make a good and easily understandable presentation. There are also modeling technical stuff like how many stages of engine i should make and can i treat them as PEC or not also what material i can use... can i use Perfect Electric absorber to simulate "best case" for tunnel lining inlet and the radar blocker.

It actually not my first time however but still.

Guess I had fun while it lasted on another forum.

This was also when I asked the moderator of over there who is also a moderator here stating pre-ukraine sanction production numbers for the Su-57 are different from the after sanctions period for the Su-75 and shouldnt be compared as being the same
than someone brings up the Su-57 on a Su-75 thread believing some polak journo(thats like trusting an Armenian journo opinion or information about the TAI-TFX if anyone gets that joke) having authentic information about a few cracks on some Su-57s while of course there are more Su-57s. Instead of me bringing up a journo I brought up christopher miller and airforce general brown as stating their information on the F-35 has to be authentic as well as the journo he bringing up because one is pentagon chief and the other a high ranking military official, admin screams bloody murder, get account banned telling him why he turned a blind eye on the other user(briefly started an account on Russia defense net where he got roasted by Mindstorm, probably will have fun over there sharing the event experience with them on that forum over there and that was the last time I saw him so he doesnt take other opinions to well that are not favorable to his). Tell me guys what could I have done better so I could avoid doing the same shit here because I dont know if its me or just the retardation of other users either that or there are goverment agents just doing there jobs that have moderation and administrative authority and anything favorable regarding adversary's progress in military weapons technology is a big no no for them because I also found it odd how my internal hypersonic missile for the Su-57 was dismissed, but than they were quiet after it was given a name like Larva-MD.

Sadly the only person I could start debates with is some user with a jewish background named ronny but even if changing my IP addresses without using opera, tor, etc f-16.net, secretprojects, ar15.com and space battle forums are big no nos because of the sensitivity of other users taking opinions from others. Dont know about this forum yet but anyone have any better ideas of other forums, discord pages that talk about military related equipment?

I debated posting this, but decided to do so only to point out as the space faring nations put together orbital AWACS stealth is going to need to change to handle that angle as well, if it can.

Well Satellite also rather predictable and may not necessarily be in the place when it's needed. Thus there gonna needs to be many of these Satellites to allow constant surveillance and maybe Mid course update for a weapon.
