b787, you should admit that you are biased like all of us are. Just because you turned out to be right on a couple of issues does not mean you are not biased.

For the issue of T-50-5, most of us were questioning the wisdom of restoring this aircraft and thought it didn't make sense to do so It's hard to say where this program would be if they didn't take the time to restore T-50-5 and just continued with T-50-6. We do know it took over a year to get it restored to flying condition again. During that, I think it looks to have fallen behind J-20 project. Do you think it actually helped PAK-FA program to spend this much time on one damaged aircraft just so that they can make good on their word?

The difference is most of you said Sukhoi was not telling the truth.

Since the Russian defense brass has said 2017 is the date for inducting the T-50, at this moment well that is the plan and official plan, can it change? of course, but that time will tell

Is it possible Russia could be saving their izdeliye 30 engines for their next stealth fighter after the T-50? I wouldn't be surprise they are working on a second 5th gen fighter for both the Navy and Air Force. Of course of this depends on money and how those sanctions upon Russia may or may not effect the program over all health (it's all about the program).

Only F-22 can beat him in A2A combat, in BVR normaly better more stealth and detect T-50 more far but don't get a IRST then need open her radar and detected with EM signal when he do it but if the pilot can detect fast the T-50 the F-22 win and according you have see maybe get more missiles 8 vs 6.

Remains a doubt possible APG-77 get a more low EM signature as some say.

About J-20 very difficult ofc rigt now known seems 6 AAM, as T-50 less stealth as F-22/35 and canards is not ideal for stealth, no vect thrust maybe get a gun, powbig nose for host a AESA with ~ 1500+ modules definitely very good but possible less agile mainly coz he don' t get vectored thrust and seems more heavy.

For Dog Fight very fast the two more as Rafale, Typhoon then have an advantage with more stored energy, inst turn rate etc.. but T-50 get a 3 D vect thrust and F-22, 2D.
The 30 mm gun of T-50 is more powerful but fewer shells and so bursts.

In fact giants dual these are true Rolls Royce, ultimate fighters ! very close and the Jedy really can do the difference and i think objectively US pilots are better flight more, training with also Agressor Sqns, actually a US fly about 200h for a year, Russians 130/150 but what increase 10 years ago 30 h !!!

you are generally speaking very pro-Russian though and will report back whatever their website tells you. Even though aircraft makers frequently have to revise what they tell the world since delays are common in this industry. So I think to be objective you have to get past the PR that defense ministry or military industrial complex tells us.

That is an interesting question. I wouldn't say not ever, as that is logically wrong, but I'd say not in the near term. Or expressed in a possitive way, it will happen when Sino-Russian relation is close to the point as Anglo-American or German-American whenever that may be.
