Wow! Some pretty amazing pictures of the Mi-28N crash yesterday. The co-pilot got out, and he clearly looke like he wanted to go back...but could not. The pilot died. At least that is how it looked to me.
God rest the soul of that man, and comfort his family and friends.

I find quite interesting piece of equipment in both versions, which usual Su-27UB doesn't have and it is special weapon control joystick on the right side of cockpit. Anyone have an idea, if this joystick is fixed in this position or WSO could bring it closer to himself to operate with it? It is in quite unusual position.

The Ka-29 aboard the "Yellow 39" in Yeisk
An interesting photo shoot of one of the three are now in flying condition of transport and combat helicopters Ka-29 naval aviation of the Russian Navy - a helicopter with the hull number "39 Yellow" (RF-registration number 34188), operating in 859th Combat Center implementation and training of flight crews of naval aviation of the Russian Navy in Yeisk. The photos were taken in July 25, 2015.
As part of this 859th Center is also Ka-29 with tail number "Yellow 38" (registration RF-34194). In addition, as part of Northern Fleet aircraft operated helicopter Ka-29 with tail number "23 Red".
Total from 1977 to 1988 were built three prototypes and 59 series helicopters Ka-29, seven of which after the collapse of the Soviet Union moved to Ukraine (two of them are now in flying condition).

July 27 Director General of Nizhny Tagil Institute of Metal Testing (NTIMT) Nikolai Smirnov said that on the basis of the institute will set up a center for research and testing of UAVs:
"Right now in flight test base (Institute) a large-scale reconstruction, which will end at the end of 2015. At the aerodrome is already visited by representatives of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, they approved the creation of Russia's only center for the testing of domestic unmanned aerial vehicles. We have a good landing strip and its airspace. "
First drones tested enterprise-based developers.
"In the near future to come permission to start testing. We plan to test that drones from different manufacturers for the Defense Ministry will start before the end of 2015".
In an information report also stated that the results of the military-technical forum "Army-2015", which was held in June in Moscow, the Russian Defense Ministry has selected for testing about 100 drones developed by Russian companies.
