A few years back before the AK12 the Russians were looking for a replacement for the AK This is the Gun they adopted but never really issued.

AN94, It has two cool features first is Hyper Burst which although it sounds like a medical condition... means the Weapon fires a two round string in 2 round mode at such a high rate of fire that the two shots are basically punching the same hole this is seen a good body armor killer the second is the magazine placement it's slightly angled to the right this gives a lower profile compared to the traditional AK and allows a slightly lower prone. This gun however has a ton of fails. as larry discovered it's a complex weapon to clear, not reliable and the folding of the stock inhibits use of the trigger.

It's make shift I might be a DIY mod made by the User I am not sure the big Russian army is ready to adopt it yet.
