The "High-Precision Complexes" have supplied the military with new "Zubr" systems to protect infrastructure from UAVs
The "High-Precision Complexes" holding of the Rostec State Corporation has for the first time supplied the Russian Defense Ministry with the latest "Zubr" systems, designed to protect infrastructure from drones. The radar stations that make up the system detect both large and small aerial targets.
The "Zubr" airspace monitoring and control system is designed to protect the near-zone of critical infrastructure. It ensures the detection of aerial targets, including small unmanned aerial vehicles and loitering munitions, at any time of the day.
"The 'Zubr' system was created by specialists of our 'High-Precision Complexes'. It independently detects a drone and takes it on automatic tracking. The operator only needs to make a decision and give the order to engage. The system demonstrated high effectiveness in combating small and high-speed targets during the tests," noted the industrial director of the Rostec State Corporation's weapons cluster, member of the Bureau of the Russian Machine Builders' Union, Bekhan Ozdoev.
The "Zubr" is equipped with four modules, a control point, and its own radar station. The systems have already begun their duty of ensuring the protection of infrastructure objects.
