Really?!! I'm out ... if anything of that would be like you say, why didn't the Russians ever built a competitive modern airliner and why do A&B dominate the market? Only since they are evil and politics drives their sales or simply since Russia had nothing comparable?

And concerning the VIP helicopter market ... maybe simply since there is no market at all!?

As such we should stop this nonsense, come back when they have a competitive product available in numbers and the capability to build it in numbers as well as to support it. I'm out but wake me up, when the first 100 MS-21s are in service! ;)

Well they didnot built because there is not much profit relative to investment. unless market is in hundreds per year.
Now market is decoupled. they will built and than there will be flight restrictions on CIS airspace regardless of origin of country airline.
slow down in market and there is immediate loss.

The main difference between a VIP helicopter and a modern airliner is that a modern airliner has to compete on cost much more intensely. The margins in the airline business are razor thin. You have to optimise every component to save every drop of fuel while maintaining the extremely high civilian standards and managing large scale production of hundreds of planes a year.

Developmentally and supply chain wise it's a whole different monster than low rate production of VIP helicopters to people with fat budgets.

The point i am making is that engineering complexity behind VIP or Presidential helicopter will not be much less than Civil airliner. infact more due to its use in non standard airports.

A lot of effort goes into reducing internal noise and vibration levels, and panel alignment has to be exactly right. Leonardo personnel confirmed that the internal acoustic level inside a VVIP AW101 is below 75 decibels – similar to a commercial jet.

than you add the certification of bathroom, inflight entertainment and communication suite and non standard weights of different cabins. This is a multi year effort and only two or three firms can do it.

This kinda looks cool. Some new armored fighting truck.

On an unrelated topic, are they making AK-200 rifles for the war in Ukraine? This is an export assault rifle based on the AK-74M but modernized with piccadilly sights and other things. Compared to the AK-12, its much cheaper and faster to produce, but correct me on this. For this reason, this makes it convenient to supply non elite units when supplies of AK-74M ran out, or if you wish something with the known quantity of the AK-74M but with some modernized conveniences.
