I would say, that Russia really aren't likely to have enough money to procure actual numbers of say 052Ds (a few possible, not many).

Although possible, that they might buy 1 to take home and study.

With that said, I think it would be an actual positive for the russian navy to get their hands on at least the 056 and 054A.
Chinese military enthusiasts offer an "interesting" idea:Provide all modified Sovremenny class to the Russian Navy.
These ships are of large tonnage and their weapon systems have been upgraded. The Russians can at least get some large tonnage "054A“.

I don't know Russian, so I don't know where to find the original Russian news.
Well Sputnik itself is a Russian company with multiple language sites.
The Sputnik article claims the source as

magazine. But I could not find the original article in their web site after some searching.

The article shows a strong interest in 056, 054A and 052d.But the obvious thing is that it is difficult for Russia to make this decision if it wants to buy warships from the original import users.

According to the passage, this can quickly build an ocean fleet. From a practical point of view, it is really difficult for Russia to rebuild its navy on its own in the short term.
What China can do is sell them 10x 054A, a repair/production capability, and all their upgraded and repaired Soveremmeny classes back in new condition.

In exchange they can sell 200x Chinese customized Ka-52 and a production capability for it and its powerful turboshaft engines. China can provide them with interoperable parts and electronics for customization that they can also buy themselves to later upgrade their own Ka-52s.

Fair trade. They get strategic naval assets, China gets strategic heavy helicopter assets which China needs.

Money should not be as issue as Russia already has 2 to 1 trade advantage over China and that advantage will increase as China maybe only able to sell complete De-Westernize products.
the second thing is technology change. The large Surface combat ships were designed for area defense of fleet which is no longer possible against competent rivals threats are saturated, longer range, smaller , lower altitude.

they added this 9100M smaller missile and increase the missiles per TEL to 12 for 9M96E2. this new smaller missile will increase missile load out further.

According to “Valery Slugin” , chief designer of the air defence system, the ammunition of the “Pantsir SM”, can be increased by installing cartridges in each of the standard launchers of the complex from 12 to 48 missiles. Small-sized missiles will be able to destroy mini-drones at a distance of five to seven km, while the usual “large” armour Pantsir will hit at a distance of 30 km.

We must remember that, in this new international order, oil, gas, gold, coal, iron, and grain, are the new monies!

But many things are not so optimistic.
Chinese military enthusiasts do not think the Ka-52 is better than the Z-10.The most important reason is simple: They don't believe in the production speed of Russia.
The purchase of Su-35s is very unsatisfactory, the delivery speed is too slow, wasting a lot of valuable time.
The contracts of IL-76 and IL-78 can in fact be considered as breach of contract. So whether China is willing to sign such large-scale procurement contracts is a question, the ka-52k is not a helicopter that can be supplied immediately.

.Post 2010 Russia spend massively on Aviation and improving industrial capacities in heavy engineering products. The quality will be much improved than soviet times. They already supplied 46 to 49 Ka-52K to Egypt. They also exported Mi-28NE to Irak, Algeria and now Uganda.

How the Chinese AWACS aircraft Xian KJ-600 can help Russia on the Ukrainian front

In continuation of the difficult and painful

of those weapons that the Russian army and navy clearly lack for a quick and decisive victory over the enemy, behind whom stands the entire military might of the collective West.
All these air attacks on oil depots on our own territory, the rapid movement of motorized units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with “toad jumps”, missile strikes on peaceful drilling rigs in the Black Sea and Russian warships would not have been possible if the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation and the Navy of the Russian Federation had sufficient the number of AWACS aircraft and other means of long-range reconnaissance and target designation.
The first aircraft carrier to carry the Xian KJ-600 will be the Fujian,
The appearance of such an aircraft in Russia's unofficial ally China, in theory, should prompt the Russian Ministry of Defense to inquire about the possibility of acquiring a light front-line AWACS. The times when only we sold something to the Chinese have passed, now Chinese warships and reconnaissance aircraft have become very interesting.
If the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation had at least 3-4 Russified export versions of the Xian KJ-600, it would be able to constantly monitor the situation in the water area and on the coast of Ukraine, preventing missile attacks on Russian ships and drilling rigs of Chornomorneftegaz.
Regular air patrols of AWACS aircraft along the border would make it possible to take it to the castle, preventing the attack helicopters and UAVs of the Ukrainian army from invading our territory.
The large-scale war on land, sea and in the air proved that light AWACS aircraft are urgently needed at the front, and there should be a lot of them. Since we cannot yet build them on our own, it means that we must try to acquire them so as not to pay for pride with the blood of Russian soldiers and sailors.
