There is nothing special in what the Spaniards said or did.And if Russia says the attacks will be directed at the terrorists in NW Syria everyone can be happy except the terrorists and Mr Fallon and his friends.
BTW BBC Radio 4 news said this morning there have been no air attacks on East Aleppo for a week.

DAMASCUS, SYRIA (12:45 P.M.) - The Russian Air Force carried out several airstrikes over the Idlib Governorate on Tuesday night, targeting Jaysh Al-Fateh's (Army of Conquest) positions near the provincial capital.

According to an Al-Masdar field correspondent, the Russian Air Force conducted more than 10 airstrikes over the Idlib Governorate on Tuesday night, striking Jaysh Al-Fateh at Idlib City, Binnish, Taftanaz, and Ma'arat Al-Nu'man.

In addition to their airstrikes over the Idlib Governorate last night, the Russian Air Force also carried out an attack against the jihadist rebels of Jund Al-Aqsa and Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham in the northern countryside of Hama.

The Russian airstrikes in northern Hama were followed by a ground assault from the Syrian Arab Army at the village of Souran; clashes are still ongoing at this moment.

Thankfully some countries are conscious and conscientious enough to see that extremists and terrorists are the clear and present danger in Syria and are acting accordingly. If the US had chosen to support the Syrian government it wouldn't be Russia getting the support now.
