At this time seems short for do it because ice especially in White Sea, in Barents Sea a part free close coast with the end of Gulf Stream.

Tu-95H with 8 Kh-101 or 102 annouced get a range of 2000/3500 km long. Maybe now operationnal ?
Only on ext hard points so long for weapons bay, posssible for Tu-160 and normaly Tu-22M can't carry. Very big 2.4 t ! long 7.5 m AS-15 do 6,4, AGM-86 6,4 m.

I thought it would be worthwhile and interesting to look at the two principle STOBAR carrier aircraft for Russia and China...the J-15 and the SU-33.

The J-15 is coming on strong and has a bright future, the SU-33 is fading.

Here's an in service J-15:

Here's an in service SU-33:

Here's a comparison of characteristics:

Here's a picture of J-15s on board the Liaoning:

Here's a picture of SU-33s on board the Kuznetsov:

As I say, the J-15 is up and coming.

I expect there will be at least three carrier air wings of these aircraft built, along with the requisite training squadron and probably others for test and eval and for contingency concerns.

Something like 80+ aircraft perhaps for the PLAN before all is said and done..

The SU-33 is done. No more will be built.

The 19 that Russia has will be it, and I expect they will be replaced by the newer Mig-29K aircraft in the future.

The 2nd Kilo have finish her test in Barents Sea but have a problem maybe a big

classic submarine B-237 Rostov-on-Don (Project 0636.3) interrupted his crossing from Polyarny to the Black Sea, and returned to Kronstadt (Gulf of Finland) to undergo an "additional parts" according to the Russian MinDef. According to other sources, the submarine had been damaged on installation of energy production.

Minor or major but
additional parts"
want say nothing... for a SSK which have finish towed.
Surprising Kilo worck good.

CGN Nakhimov
the modernization of the guided-missile cruiser Admiral Nakhimov continues (Project 1144.2) at Sevmash (Severodvinsk). It is learned that the ship will be equipped with universal vertical launchers (UKSK) capable of carrying 80 missiles, whose now famous missile Kalibr cruises, Oniks anti-ship missiles and hypersonic missiles Tsirkon. The building must be delivered to the Navy by 2020 (or 2018): he will join the Northern Fleet he will become the flagship instead of the atomic missile cruiser Peter the Great, who in turn will return modernization cycle. (BMPD, sputnik). Comment: hypersonic missile Tsirkon is so far out of focus. The last known test launch was in September 2013, a Tu-22M3 since (?), And it ended in failure. Three test shots were made so far and none successfully.

Comment: no clear information was provided. The fact that he returned to the trailer seemed to indicate a drive failure. It is not impossible that this fault has actually affected the propulsion control system, which could explain such a rapid departure.

Advantage of having to get 2 very good sites specialized about Russian Navy in more French :)

B-265 Krasnodar, 4th Kilo delivered yesterday.

B-585 Project 677 Lada Sankt-Petersburg is still operating "experimental". The construction of a modernized series will be decided when the final admission to active duty of this unit will be pronounced. It is not excluded that other submarines of Project 06 363 are ordered for other fleets as the Black Sea Source:
