Armament. Russia's most secretive reconnaissance aircraft, the Tu-214R, flew near the Finnish border.​

A Russian Tu-214R strategic reconnaissance aircraft flew over Karelia and the northwestern borders of Finland, where it monitored military infrastructure and ground targets. The rare aircraft, RF-64514, took off from an airfield in Kazan, then flew along the Finnish route and returned via the Tersky Coast and the Komi Republic.
The Tu-214R is considered one of the most secure and technologically sophisticated reconnaissance aircraft. The aircraft is equipped with the MRK-411 active phased array radar system. The equipment operates in multiple bands and is capable of detecting vehicles, artillery positions, air defense systems, and convoy movements, even in difficult forested terrain. During the flight, the aircraft was capable of conducting radar surveys of objects to a depth of several hundred kilometers. The system supports SAR and ISAR modes, allowing it to obtain detailed images of terrain and equipment regardless of time of day or weather conditions.

The experimental Yak-130M aircraft performed its first flight

The first flight of the Yak-130M experimental aircraft took place at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant, a branch of PJSC "Yakovlev" (part of the Rostec State Corporation's Aviation Industry Corporation). The aircraft was piloted by a crew consisting of 1st class test pilot Alexander Guskov and Honored Test Pilot Andrey Voropaev.

According to Alexander Guskov's report, the flight lasted about 50 minutes and took place at altitudes up to 2000 meters and speeds up to 600 km/h. The flight mission was fully completed, and there were no technical issues.

“The first flight of the Yak-130M is an important stage in the development program of domestic combat-training aviation. The aircraft combines modern technologies, expanded functional capabilities, and high potential for solving a wide range of tasks in the interests of the customer,” said Gennady Abramenkov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

ℹ️ The Yak-130M is a modernized combat-training aircraft with enhanced combat capabilities. It was created on the basis of the Yak-130 aircraft, which is operated by the Russian Aerospace Forces and the air forces of a number of European, Asian, and African countries.

“Externally, it's the familiar Yak-130, but in terms of its characteristics, it's a completely new aircraft that takes into account the requirements of today, real combat experience, and the prospects for the development of combat aviation. It has advanced onboard systems, a modern radar, and a serious set of weapons, including air-to-air and air-to-ground weapons. Now it's 'two in one': not just a combat-training aircraft, but actually a full-fledged light fighter, significantly surpassing the capabilities of its predecessor,” noted Rostec.

“The modernization will allow to fully solve training and combat tasks in any weather conditions, day and night, at the level of modern aviation complexes. Among the combat tasks of the Yak-130M are the destruction of ground and air targets, including heavy-class unmanned aerial vehicles,” emphasized Vadim Badeha, General Director of the United Aircraft Corporation.

In November 2025, the Aviation Industry Corporation and "Rosoboronexport" presented a prototype of the Yak-130M aircraft at the Dubai Airshow 2025. Interest in acquiring the aircraft was shown by states that already operate Yak-130 aircraft and new customers planning to replenish their air force with modern aircraft.

This says that a refurbished A-50U returned to service and the tweet saying that A-50U is now using Civilian airports. there could be between 8 to 12 A-50U. Ukriane does not have fast missiles but A-50U need to be protected.
There is not much news about importance of A-50U. but what is in Arabic media. It is either fighters or Ka-52M. The drone radar is for Sea and Land. so radar on drone like Orion and Forpost can find targets like drone launching sites. since Ukraine does not have real airforce i dont think they need Tu-160M2 radar capabilities.

Upgrades on the Mi-28NM includes a 360 degree sensor suite that detects incoming SAMs and drones. This is notable after a Ka-52 got taken down by an FPV drone, and another failed attempt. The sensor suite also enables the helicopter to hunt down drones better.

The video shows the installation of a homemade anti-drone system called "Hedgehog," also known as "Dikobraz," on a Russian T-80B tank. The video also shows a T-72B3M tank equipped with additional protection. It's worth noting that effective anti-drone protection for tanks has yet to be developed. Sea trials of the Russian high-speed unmanned boat "Kama" took place in the Sea of Japan on Sakhalin Island. Previously, the Russian company ZALA, manufacturer of the Lancet drones, unveiled another version of the KAMA marine drones. The drones are different; visually, the previously unveiled marine drone is larger and equipped with two motors. The Kama marine drone is designed for operation in open waters and can operate autonomously. Currently, the drone is controlled using the GEOKOSMOS communication and navigation system. Technical details have not yet been released.

I heard that the MiG-29 kill by an R-37M fired by an Su-35 took place at an astonishing 190km. Objective confirmation of the distance would be impossible to obtain however.
