Checking Russian T-55 tanks removed from storage. Footage of the process of calibrating and zeroing the guns of Russian T-55A tanks at one of the training grounds has been published. T-55A tanks have been removed from storage and belong to the 1430th Motorized Rifle Regiment. Externally and internally, the vehicles are in good condition; the tanks have undergone a major overhaul. Judging by the video, the tanks do not have any additional protection; apparently they will be used as mobile artillery and operate from closed firing positions. It can also be used as a quickly deployed block post. The T-55A tank is a modernization of the T-55 tank, which was designed on the basis of the T-54 tank. In 1958, mass production of T-55 tanks and its modifications was launched in the Soviet Union; in total, 14 thousand tanks of various modifications were produced in the USSR. The T-55A tank is equipped with a 100 mm D-10T2S cannon.

The targets were hit by the Varyag missile cruiser, Project 1164, firing a P-1000 Vulcan anti-ship missile. Nuclear submarine missile cruiser "Tomsk", project 949A "Antey", firing a P-700 "Granit" anti-ship missile. As well as the Bastion coastal missile system, firing the P-800 Oniks anti-ship missile.

If true, 6500 kilometers is an absolutely massive strike range for a cruise missile, which pretty much rivals that of the IRBMs. For reference, that's slightly longer than the distance between Beijing and Anchorage.

Questions about the Russians seemingly being obsessed with ultra long-range subsonic cruise missiles aside - 6500 kilometers of strike range seems rather overkill for the European frontier, but could be ideal for the Pacific frontier...
how about down there Mideast and Africa. near the equator the greater the distance.
They also have increased the range in Tu-160M2 and IL-78M-90A. and also modernizing existing air refuelers to IL-78M2. putting long rang missiles on Su-34. if the bigger missile has range increase than its logical the smaller missiles will also have range increase.
This MI-26 with PD8V will have 15% more power and better efficiency. i think they are improving each product for hot conditions and longer distance.

But honestly and regardless of all these claims "have increased" and "will have" how much in the end entered service in recent years and how much simply died a slow death in the end?

That is if you want to attack fairly. cruise missile isn't an IRBM, it can bite backs.

On the other hand - worth noting, that for all their stealth, the bigger the missile, the less agile, more reflective and more geometrically vulnerable it is.
Kh-101 and Kh-BD are massive missiles, 3 times(!) longer than, say, Kh-69. Given their relative speed, you may compare relative shift(i.e. movement compared to own length).

I think what ever claims they are making regarding production rate of equipment, ejection seat of Ka-52 , electronic warfare and the recovery of injured people from battlefield things that people not pay attention is reaching intended audience. the last thing about injured people they did a programme on RT Arabic that now not in youtube. its like using soft power.

Russian divers have begun clearing mines from the bottom of the Sevastopol bay. The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations published footage of the work of Russian divers demining Gilzovaya Bay off the coast of Sevastopol. Divers are collecting from the bottom of the bay, mines, hand grenades and shells left over from the Great Patriotic War. To lift from the bottom of the bay, special pontoon devices filled with air are used. After removal, these dangerous items are transported to a special site where they are destroyed. Work to clear the bay of mines has been underway for the third year in a row. During the entire period of underwater work, almost 8,000 explosive objects were neutralized.

Russia's new weapon is the heavy kamikaze drone Italmas. Russia has developed a heavy kamikaze drone "Italmas", which is an analogue of the well-known kamikaze drones "Geran". The new kamikaze drone "Italmas" will be produced by the Aeroscan company, which produces the well-known kamikaze drones "Lancet", the new drone should quickly appear in the army. The drone will not replace the Geranium kamikaze drones, but rather complement them, since this is a medium-range drone with a flight range of about 200 km. The drone is built according to a “flying wing” design similar to the “Geranium”. The loitering ammunition is equipped with an internal combustion engine, and its fuel is poured into tanks located in the wings, which is an additional damaging factor. The designer of the Zala Aero company, Alexander Zakharov, did not provide technical details; the drone is ready for delivery to the troops.

The crew of the Russian T-90M tank compared it with the T-72B tank. The driver-mechanic of the Russian T-90M Proryv tank shared his impressions of the combat vehicle. Previously, the serviceman drove the T-72B tank; tanks of this series were put into service in 1984.
