Welp, apparently Adorable Whale is claiming that (in his own Weibo chat group) the rumors/claims on the development of the new common platform for special mission aircraft are merely nonsense:
Which SOYO replied: "We'll know everything in the next couple of years anyway."
On the other hand, @Oneninety replied to a follower in a comment section who was asking about this development: "It's only a matter of time (before this new common platform aircraft comes out."
So, eh. Make of that what you will.
So there appears to be some ongoing misunderstandings?
The following is taken from one of SOYO's comment sections on Weibo (where @rational314159 first posted that Adorable Whale/Cute Orca's claim from Twitter, resulting in SOYO's response in my previous post). Note that for Chinese, please read from bottom up, left page to right page.

Translation of the comments (already arranged in order, and only included those that matter):
SOYO (responding to rational's screenshot on Twitter): We'll know everything in the next couple of years anyway
极端扩核拥护者: Didn't Cute Orca mention earlier that (China) needs a 2030s-level Boeing 707?
她曾言岸芷汀兰: (Replying to 极端扩核拥护者) Isn't the Boeing 707 basically a low-wing monoplane jetliner that is situated between the 757 and 767 (in terms of size)? The only question is whether this (new common platform aircraft) uses 2 engines or 4 engines
whyj22: Cute Orca is just disagreeing on the notion of using CJ2000's core to develop the 25-tonf engine, not that he disagreed with the notion of developing the new common platform aircraft
rational: It is said that in his group chat, Cute Orca evaluates the notion that “Xi’an AC will use two CF6-80C-class engines to cobble together a 2030s-level Boeing 707” as “bullshit.”
手机用户3015325097: (Replying to rational) Cute Orca himself said last year that (China) is developing a 2030s-level Boeing 707
极端扩核拥护者: (Replying to whyj22) So that means they will develop a brand-new 25-tonf engine?
